도 2 는, 기준 나사산 높이를 설명하는 도면이다.
도 3 은, 도 1 의 스파이럴 탭의 나사산의 제조 공정을 설명하는 도면이다.
도 4 는, 블라스트 처리를 실시함으로써 형성되는 돌출 원형상부를 전자 현미경으로 확대한 사진이다.
도 5 는, 돌출 원형상부가 형성되지 않은 스파이럴 탭의 초기 성능 시험을 실시한 시험 결과를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 6 은, 나사산 제조시에 형성되는 버를 남긴 스파이럴 탭의 초기 성능 시험을 실시한 시험 결과를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 7 은, 본원의 돌출 원형상부가 형성된 스파이럴 탭의 초기 성능 시험을 실시한 시험 결과를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 8 은, 복수의 형식의 스파이럴 탭을 사용하여 내구 시험을 실시한 시험 결과를 나타내는 도면이다.

Claims (3)
- 물림부 (22) 의 선단으로부터 완전 산부 (24) 를 향함에 따라 불완전한 형상으로부터 완전한 형상이 되는 나사산 (18) 이, 축 방향으로 연장되는 비틀림 홈, 스트레이트 홈 또는 스파이럴 포인트 홈 (20) 에 의해 둘레 방향으로 분단되고, 그 분단된 나사산의 일단부에 그 비틀림 홈, 스트레이트 홈 또는 스파이럴 포인트 홈을 따라 절삭날 (28) 이 형성되어 있는 나사 절삭용 탭 (10) 에 있어서,
적어도 상기 물림부의 산 정상에 형성되는 상기 절삭날에는, 그 절삭날의 레이크면 (30) 으로부터 회전 방향으로 돌출되고, 그 절삭날을 따라 이어지며, 축 직각으로 절단했을 때의 단면이 반원 형상 또는 타원 형상으로 형성되어 있는 돌출 원형상부 (32) 가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 나사 절삭용 탭. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 돌출 원형상부를 축 직각인 단면에서 절단했을 때의 직경 방향의 치수로 정의되는 그 돌출 원형상부의 폭 (Hw) 은, 암나사의 기준 나사산 높이 (H) 의 1/80 내지 1/20 의 범위 내로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 나사 절삭용 탭. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 돌출 원형상부는, 연삭 지석을 사용한 연마 가공에 의해 상기 나사산을 형성할 때에 상기 절삭날에 형성되는 버 (36) 를, 유리 비드를 사용한 블라스트 처리를 실시함으로써 소성 가공한 것을 특징으로 하는 나사 절삭용 탭.
