- 엔진의 희박 연소에 의해 발생되는 질소산화물을 흡장하여 저장하고, 환원 작용으로 질소산화물을 질소로 환원시켜 배출하는 질소산화물 흡장촉매(Lean NOx Trap; LNT) 장치;
상기 질소산화물 흡장촉매 장치 후단에 위치하며, 배기파이프 내부에 우레아 수용액을 분사하는 우레아 인젝터;
상기 우레아 인젝터 후단에 위치하며, 상기 질소산화물 흡장촉매 장치를 통과한 배기가스의 신속한 유동 확산이 가능하도록 구비된 믹서;
상기 믹서 후단에 위치하며, 귀금속을 포함하지 않는 촉매가 코팅되거나 암모니아를 산화시키지 않고 상기 분사된 우레아를 가수분해시키는 가수분해 촉매가 코팅되어 배기가스의 입자상물질을 저감시키는 입자상물질 제거용 필터;
상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터 후단에 위치하며, 상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터를 통과한 배기가스의 질소산화물을 저감시키는 선택적환원촉매 장치; 및
상기 배기파이프의 일부분으로서, 상기 질소산화물 흡장촉매 장치와 상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터를 연결하며, 상기 우레아 인젝터에 의해 환원제가 분사되는 공간을 형성하는 분사 챔버를 포함하고,
상기 분사 챔버 내에 분사된 환원제는 상기 분사 챔버 내에 구비되는 믹서에 의해 균일하게 혼합되며,
상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터와 상기 선택적환원촉매 장치 사이에는,
저압 배기가스 재생장치 파이프가 연결되는 배기 시스템. - 삭제

상기 선택적환원촉매 장치 후단에 위치하며,
상기 선택적환원촉매 장치를 통과한 배기가스의 암모니아를 산화시키고 질소산화물을 저감시키는 암모니아산화촉매 장치를 더 포함하는 배기 시스템. - 제 8 항에서,
상기 선택적환원촉매 장치의 전단 및 후단에 질소산화물 센서가 구비되는 배기 시스템. - 제 8 항에서,
상기 질소산화물 흡장촉매 장치와 상기 우레아 인젝터 사이, 그리고 상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터와 상기 선택적환원촉매 장치 사이에 질소산화물 센서가 구비되는 배기 시스템. - 제 8 항에서,
상기 질소산화물 흡장촉매 장치, 상기 우레아 인젝터, 상기 믹서, 및 상기 입자상물질 제거용 필터는 차량의 엔진룸에 구비되며, 상기 선택적환원촉매 장치는 차량 하부에 구비되는 배기 시스템. - 삭제
