- 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 3-아릴-1,2,4-트라이아졸 유도체 또는 약제학적으로 허용 가능한 그의 염을 유효성분으로 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 당뇨병 및 당뇨병 합병증의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물로서,

상기 화학식 1에서 상기 R1 은 메틸, 메톡시, 또는 하이드록시기가 1 내지 2개가 치환된 방향족기이고, 이때 상기 방향족기는 페닐, 나프틸, 벤조다이옥솔릴 또는 인돌릴이며;
상기 R2는 수소이며;
상기 X는 산소 또는 황이며;
상기 A, B, C 및 D는 각각 독립적으로 수소, 클로로, 하이드록시 또는 이소프로필인 것을 특징으로 하는, 약학적 조성물.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 3-아릴-1,2,4-트라이아졸 유도체는,

- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 당뇨병 및 당뇨병 합병증은 1형 및 2형 당뇨병, 성인형 잠복성 자가면역 당뇨병(LADA), 병적 비만, 내당능 장애(IGT), 공복혈당 장애(IFG), 당뇨병성 미세혈관 합병증, 당뇨병성 대혈관 합병증, 혈관 석회화 및 동맥경화로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 약학적 조성물.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 당뇨병성 미세혈관 합병증은 망막병증, 신경병증 또는 신증인 것을 특징으로 하는, 약학적 조성물.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 당뇨병성 대혈관 합병증은 심혈관 질환, 뇌혈관 질환 또는 말초 혈관 질환인 것을 특징으로 하는, 약학적 조성물.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은 PDK4 효소의 활성 저해하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 약학적 조성물.
