Claims (16)
- 원위 단부를 갖는 세장형 부재(elongate member);
상기 세장형 부재의 상기 원위 단부에 결합된 선단부(tip)로서, 상기 세장형 부재의 일 측면 상에 포인트(point)를 포함하는 베벨부(bevel portion)를 포함하는 것인, 상기 선단부; 및
상기 세장형 부재 안의 일부 또는 전부의 제1위치와 상기 세장형 부재 밖의 그리고 이의 측면에 대해 일부 또는 전부의 제2위치 사이로 이동 가능한 복수의 필라멘트를 포함하되,
상기 복수의 필라멘트들 및 상기 선단부가 단극성 전극으로서 작동하기 위해 프로브로부터 고주파 에너지를 전달하도록 구성되고,
상기 세장형 부재가 근위 단부를 가지고, 니들이 상기 세장형 부재의 상기 근위 단부에 결합된 필라멘트 전개 메커니즘을 추가로 포함하되,
상기 필라멘트 전개 메커니즘이
상기 복수의 필라멘트에 결합된 스템을 포함하는 전진 허브;
나선형 트랙을 포함하는 스핀 이음 고리(spin collar)로서, 내측의 일부 또는 전부에 상기 전진 허브의 스템을 포함하는 것인, 상기 스핀 이음 고리; 및
상기 나선형 트랙과 협력하도록 구성된 나선형 쓰레드(helical thread)를 포함하는 스템을 포함하는 메인 허브로서, 상기 스핀 이음 고리 내측의 일부 또는 전부에 상기 메인 허브의 스템을 포함하고, 상기 메인 허브 내측의 일부 또는 전부에 상기 전진 허브의 스템을 포함하는 것인, 상기 메인 허브를 포함하며,
상기 스핀 이음 고리의 회전 시에, 상기 필라멘트가 제1위치와 제2위치 사이로 이동하도록 구성되고,
상기 복수의 필라멘트는 단일 와이어로부터 형성되고,
상기 와이어의 근위 단부가 상기 전진 허브의 상기 스템에 결합되어 있는 것인 니들. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 베벨부가 20° 내지 30°의 베벨 각도(bevel angle)를 갖는 것인 니들.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 필라멘트들 각각이 상기 선단부로부터 떨어져 향하는 베벨을 포함하는 원위 단부를 갖는 것인 니들.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 필라멘트들의 베벨이 25°내지 35°의 각도를 갖는 것인 니들.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포인트를 일부 또는 전부 덮는 절연 코팅을 추가로 포함하는 니들.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선단부가 세장형 부재의 일부 또는 전부에 제2스템(stem)을 포함하되, 상기 스템이 제1필라멘트 루멘 및 제2필라멘트 루멘을 포함하는 것인 니들.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제2스템이 제3루멘을 포함하며, 상기 베벨부가 상기 제3루멘과 소통하는 유체 포트(fluid port)를 포함하는 것인 니들.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전개 메커니즘이 상기 선단부에 대한 상기 복수의 필라멘트의 부분 전개의 표시(indicia)를 포함하는 것인 니들.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 표시가 음파 및 촉감 디텐트(detent)들 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 것인 니들.

- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 필라멘트가 상기 제3위치에서의 포인트에 가깝고, 상기 복수의 필라멘트가 상기 제 4 위치에서의 포인트와 실질적으로 종방향으로 정렬되며, 상기 복수의 필라멘트가 상기 제 5 위치에서의 포인트에 대해 원위인 것인 니들.
