Abstract
본 발명의 Si/C 복합체를 음극 활물질로 사용함으로써, 전기 전도도를 더욱 향상시킬 수 있고, 부피 팽창을 최소화 함으로써 리튬 이차 전지의 수명 특성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
Description
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따라, 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물을 사용한 Si/C 복합체의 제조 방법을 도시한 플로우 챠트이다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따라, 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물 및 선형 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물을 함께 사용한 Si/C 복합체의 제조 방법을 도시한 플로우 챠트이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 Si/C 복합체의 반응 메커니즘 및 Si/C 복합체의 모식도를 나타낸다.
도 4는 본 발명의 제조예 1 내지 7에 따른 환원전의 SiO2/C 복합체의 SEM 사진, SiO2/C 복합체의 입경 및 SiO2/C 복합체에 존재하는 탄소 함량을 나타낸 것이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예 3에 따른 환원 후 Si/C 복합체의 SEM 사진, Si/C 복합체의 입경 및 Si/C 복합체에 존재하는 탄소 함량을 나타낸 것이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예 5 및 6에 따라 제조된 코인형 반쪽 전지의 사이클 수에 따른 용량 특성을 나타낸 그래프이다.

Claims (26)
- i) 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물을 유기 용매와 함께 혼합하여 SiO2/C 복합체를 형성하는 단계;
ii) 상기 단계 i)에서 얻은 SiO2/C 복합체를 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리 토금속과 혼합한 후, 이를 비활성 분위기에서 열처리하여 상기 SiO2/C 복합체의 SiO2(실리카)를 환원시키는 단계; 및
iii) 상기 단계 ii)에서 얻은 열처리 결과물을 산처리하여 산화물을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법;

상기 식에서,
R1은 페닐기이고,
R2는 C1 내지 C4의 알콕시기이며,
n은 1 내지 3이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Si/C 복합체에서 Si에 대한 C의 몰비(C/Si ratio)는 0 초과 18 미만의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Si/C 복합체에서 C(탄소)의 함량은 Si/C 복합체 전체 중량에 대하여 1 내지 50 중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Si/C 복합체의 입경은 10 nm 내지 100 ㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Si/C 복합체는 실리콘(Si) 입자 내부에 탄소(C)가 원자 상태로 분산되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물은 페닐트리에톡시실란(Phenyl Tri Ethoxy Silane; PTES), 페닐트리메톡시실란(Phenyl Tri Methoxy Silane; PTMS) 및 디페닐디에톡시실란(Di Phenyl Di Ethoxy Silane; DDES)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나 또는 이들 중 2종 이상의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물은 페닐트리에톡시실란(Phenyl Tri Ethoxy Silane; PTES)인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드화합물의 함량은 유기용매에 대해 0.1 중량부 내지 20 중량부인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 단계 i)에서 선형 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물을 더 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 선형 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물은 테트라 에틸 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Ethyl Ortho Silicate; TEOS), 테트라 메틸 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Methyl Ortho Silicate; TMOS), 테트라 프로필 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Propyl Ortho Silicate; TPOS) 및 테트라 부틸 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Butyl Ortho Silicate; TBOS)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 어느 하나 또는 이들 중 2종 이상의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 선형 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물은 테트라 에틸 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Ethyl Ortho Silicate; TEOS) 또는 테트라 메틸 오르소 실리케이트(Tetra Methyl Ortho Silicate; TMOS)인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 방향족 함유 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물과 선형 실리콘 알콕사이드 화합물의 혼합비는 몰비로 1 : 0.3 내지 60인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 알칼리 금속이 리튬, 나트륨, 칼륨, 루비듐, 세슘 또는 프란슘인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 알칼리 토금속이 베릴륨, 마그네슘, 칼슘, 스트론튬, 바륨 또는 라듐인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 단계 ii)의 열처리는 350℃ 내지 1400℃의 온도 범위에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 단계 iii) 후, Si/C 복합체를 탄소 전구체와 혼합하여 Si/C 복합체의 표면을 탄소로 코팅하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 코팅은 300℃ 내지 1400℃의 온도 범위에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 탄소 전구체는 핏치 또는 탄화수소계 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 Si/C 복합체의 제조방법.
