Claims (14)
- WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network)에서 화이트 스페이스 영역에 대한 채널을 스캐닝하는 방법으로서,
스캐닝 스테이션으로부터 응답 스테이션으로 요청 프레임을 전송하는 단계;
상기 요청 프레임의 응답으로서 응답 프레임을 상기 응답 스테이션으로부터 수신하되, 상기 응답 프레임은 상기 화이트 스페이스 영역에서 화이트 스페이스 채널의 각각이 우선적 사용자에 의해 점유되는지 여부에 대한 정보를 포함하는 화이트 스페이스 맵을 포함하는, 수신 단계; 및
상기 화이트 스페이스 맵에 기초하여 상기 화이트 스페이스 영역의 채널을 스캐닝하는 단계를 포함하는, 채널 스캐닝 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 요청 프레임을 전송하기 전에 상기 스캐닝 스테이션에 의해서 상기 화이트 스페이스 영역의 채널을 센싱하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 채널 스캐닝 방법. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 우선적 사용자가 없는 상기 화이트 스페이스 영역의 미점유 채널이 발견되면 상기 요청 프레임이 전송되는, 채널 스캐닝 방법. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 요청 프레임은 상기 미점유 채널 상에서 상기 응답 스테이션으로 전송되는, 채널 스캐닝 방법. - 제 2 항에 있어서,

상기 미점유된 채널을 스캐닝하는 단계를 포함하는, 채널 스캐닝 방법. - 화이트 스페이스 영역에서 화이트 스페이스 채널의 각각이 우선적 사용자에 의해 점유되는지 여부에 대한 정보를 포함하는 화이트 스페이스 맵을 포함하는 응답 프레임을 수신하도록 구성된 트랜스시버; 및
상기 화이트 스페이스 맵에 기초하여 상기 화이트 스페이스 영역의 채널을 스캐닝하도록 구성된 프로세서를 포함하는, 무선 장치.
