Claims (10)
- 인쇄될 기판 상에 유체 방울을 토해내기 위한 하나 이상의 노즐(22)을 구비하는 적어도 하나의 통류 인쇄 헤드(20) 및 상기 인쇄 헤드를 통하여 유체를 공급시키고 순환시키기 위한 유체 순환 시스템을 포함하되,
상기 유체 순환 시스템은,
상당한 양의 유체를 포함하기 위한 주 저장소(30);
상기 주 저장소로(30)부터 유체를 받아서 상기 통류 인쇄 헤드(20)로 유체를 공급하기 위한 공급 버퍼 탱크(38); 및
상기 통류 인쇄 헤드(20)로부터 유체를 받아서 상기 주 저장소(30)로 유체를 반환하기 위한 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)를 포함하고,
상기 주 저장소(30)는 상기 주 저장소(30)로부터 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)로 유체를 보내기 위한 펌프 수단(42)이 제공된 공급 도관(40)을 통해 상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)에 연결되고,
상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)는 노즐 반환 도관(62)을 통하여 상기 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)와 유체 통신하는 상기 통류 인쇄 헤드(20)의 하나 이상의 노즐(22)과 노즐 공급 도관(52)을 통하여 유체 통신하고,
상기 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)는 방출 도관(68)을 통하여 상기 주 저장소(30)에 연결되고,
상기 주 저장소(30) 및 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)는 상기 하나 이상의 노즐(22)에 대한 높이에 배치되어 잉크분사 인쇄장치(10)의 가동시, 배압이 상기 하나 이상의 노즐(22)에 생성되고 유체는 상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)로부터 매니폴드(manifold,64)로 상기 통류 인쇄 헤드(20)를 통하여 흐른 다음 상기 주 저장소(30)로 되돌아가며,
상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)는 상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)를 주 저장소(30)에 연결시키는 적어도 하나 이상의 잠금 도관(56)이 제공되고,
상기 잉크분사 인쇄장치(10)의 가동시, 상기 잠금 도관(56)이 개방되어, 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)로부터 주 저장소(30)로 유체가 흐르도록 하고, 공기는 이의 반대방향으로 흐르도록 하고, 상기 잉크분사 인쇄장치(10)의 가동 중단시, 상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)로부터 상기 잠금 도관(56)을 통하여 흐르는 유체의 유동이 차단되고, 이에 따라 상기 노즐(22)로부터 유체가 유출되는 것을 방지하는 드롭 온 디맨드(drop-on-demand)형 잉크분사 인쇄 장치(10).
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 상기 주 저장소(30) 및 상기 적어도 하나 이상의 잠금 도관(56)이 설계되어 잉크분사 인쇄 장치(10)의 가동 중단시 상기 주 저장소(30)에 포함된 유체가 상기 도관(56)을 차단하는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,
상기 주 저장소(30)에서 상기 잠금 도관(56)의 출구(58)의 높이 위치를 조절하기 위한 조절 수단을 더 포함하는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,
상기 주 저장소(30)는 상기 주 저장소(30)에 포함된 유체 상에 뜰 수 있는 부낭(80)이 제공되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 잠금 도관(56)은 밸브(90)가 제공되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)는 상기 공급 도관(40)과 노즐 공급 도관(52)에 연결되는 제 1구획실(46) 및 적어도 하나의 잠금 도관(55,56)에 연결되는 제 2구획실(44)로 상기 공급 버퍼 탱크(38)를 구획하는 오버플로(overflow,48)가 제공되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 주 저장소(30)는 공기에 개방되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)는 공기에 폐쇄되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
각각의 인쇄 헤드(20)가 일반적인 공급 버퍼 탱크(38) 및 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)와 유체 통신하는 복수의 통류 인쇄 헤드(20)를 포함하는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 반환 매니폴드(manifold,64)는 시동을 위한 탈기 유닛(65)이 제공되는 잉크분사 인쇄 장치.
