승용차량의 후방적재함은 화물을 적재하기 위하여 후방적재함 후단부에 형성된 단턱을 넘겨 화물을 적재하게 되고 화물의 인출시에는 반대로 단턱의 상부로 화물이 인출될 수 있도록 충분히 높은 위치까지 들어서 꺼내야 하였으나, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 승용차량의 적재물 승강장치는 베이스부(100), 승강판(200) 및 상판(500)이 차례로 겹쳐져 있는 상부로 화물을 적재하게 되고, 화물의 인출시에는 승강판(200)의 후방에 형성된 손잡이(210)를 승용차량의 후방으로 당기게 되면, 양단이 각기 베이스부(100) 및 승강판(200)에 힌지결합 되어있는 연결바(400)가 지렛대역할을 수행하며 적은 힘으로 승강판(200) 및 상판(500)이 상부에 적재된 화물과 함께 승용차량의 후방적재함에 형성된 단턱을 넘어 충분한 높이까지 상승하게 되어 후방적재함에 적재되어 있는 화물의 인출에 있어 큰 힘이 들지 않도록 하고, 캠핑과 같이 야외에서 간이 테이블을 필요로 할 시에는 상승 되어 있는 승강판(200) 및 상판(500)에서 상기 상판(500)만을 후방으로 전개하여 승강판(200)의 상부와 상판(500)의 상부면적을 테이블로 활용하게 되며, 이때, 상판(500)의 하부에 형성된 다리(500)를 지면에 지지하여 야외에서 간편하게 사용할 수 있는 간이 테이블의 용도로 사용하게 된다. 상기 절차와 반대로 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 승용차량용 적재물 승강장치를 수납시에는 다리(500)를 접어 상판(500)의 하부로 접철시키고 상판(500)을 전방으로 밀어 승강판(200)과 겹쳐지도록 위치시킨 후 손잡이(210)를 후방적재함쪽으로 밀어 넣으면 완충바(300)에 의하여 부드럽게 승강판(200)이 하강하여 베이스부(100)와 접하게 된다.
