Description
Claims (10)
- 액정(liquid crystal)으로 이루어진 액정층;상기 액정층의 상부에 배치되고, 컬러 필터(color filter) 및 투명 기판을 포함하는 상부 기판; 및상기 액정층의 하부에 배치되고, 상기 컬러 필터에 대면하는 흡수판 및 상기 투명 기판에 대면하는 반사판을 포함하는 하부 기판을 포함하고,상기 흡수판은 상기 컬러 필터와 상기 흡수판 사이에 제1 전압이 걸리는 경우, 외광(external light)이 상기 컬러 필터를 통해 상기 액정층을 투과한 제1 광을 흡수하고,상기 반사판은 상기 투명 기판과 상기 반사판 사이에 제2 전압이 걸리는 경우, 상기 외광이 상기 투명 기판을 통해 상기 액정층을 투과한 제2 광을 반사하며,상기 제2 전압의 크기는, 소정의 이미지를 디스플레이 하기 위해 입력되는 입력 신호의 강도를 참조하여 연산된 반사 계수를 참조하여 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 패널.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 액정은 고분자 분산형 액정(polymer dispersed liquid crystal: PDLC)인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 패널.
- 제1항에 있어서,소정의 이미지를 디스플레이 하기 위해 입력되는 입력 신호의 강도(intensity)가 증가하면, 상기 제1 전압의 크기는 감소하고, 상기 제2 전압의 크기는 증가하며,상기 입력 신호의 강도가 감소하면, 상기 제1 전압의 크기는 증가하고, 상기 제2 전압의 크기는 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 패널.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 컬러 필터는,RGB 컬러 필터인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 패널.
- 액정(liquid crystal)으로 이루어진 액정층과, 상기 액정층의 상부에 배치되고, 컬러 필터(color filter) 및 투명 기판을 포함하는 상부 기판, 및 상기 액정층의 하부에 배치되고, 상기 컬러 필터에 대면하는 흡수판 및 상기 투명 기판에 대면하는 반사판을 포함하는 하부 기판을 포함하는 패널;상기 컬러 필터와 상기 흡수판 사이에 제1 전압이 걸리도록 하는 제1 전압 인가부;상기 투명 기판과 상기 반사판 사이에 제2 전압이 걸리도록 하는 제2 전압 인가부; 및소정의 이미지를 디스플레이 하기 위해 입력되는 입력 신호의 강도를 참조하여 반사 계수를 연산하는 반사 계수 연산부를 포함하고,상기 흡수판은 상기 컬러 필터와 상기 흡수판 사이에 상기 제1 전압이 걸리는 경우, 외광(external light)이 상기 컬러 필터를 통해 상기 액정층을 투과한 제1 광을 흡수하고,상기 반사판은 상기 투명 기판과 상기 반사판 사이에 상기 제2 전압이 걸리는 경우, 상기 외광이 상기 투명 기판을 통해 상기 액정층을 투과한 제2 광을 반사하며,상기 제2 전압 인가부는 상기 반사 계수를 참조하여 상기 제2 전압의 크기를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 액정은 고분자 분산형 액정(polymer dispersed liquid crystal: PDLC)인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제1 전압 인가부는,상기 입력 신호의 강도(intensity)가 증가하면, 상기 제1 전압의 크기를 감소시키고, 상기 입력 신호의 강도가 감소하면, 상기 제1 전압의 크기를 증가시키며,상기 제2 전압 인가부는,상기 입력 신호의 강도가 증가하면, 상기 제2 전압의 크기를 증가시키고, 상기 입력 신호의 강도가 감소하면, 상기 제2 전압의 크기를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 장치.
- 삭제
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 반사 계수 연산부는,상기 입력 신호의 강도가 증가하면, 상기 반사 계수의 크기가 감소하고 상기 입력 신호의 강도가 감소하면, 상기 반사 계수의 크기가 증가하도록 상기 반사 계수를 연산하고,상기 제2 전압 인가부는 상기 반사 계수의 크기가 증가하면, 상기 제2 전압의 크기를 감소시키고, 상기 반사 계수의 크기가 감소하면, 상기 제2 전압의 크기를 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 컬러 필터는,RGB 컬러 필터인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 디스플레이 장치.
