본 발명의 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법은 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분 모두 열가소성 소재를 사용하여 동시에 압출하여 일공정으로 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분을 일방향으로 배열함으로써, 공정생략의 이점뿐만 아니라 두께의 박막화를 동시에 구현할 수 있으며, 특히, 매트릭스 내 배열된 섬유상 성분의 단면형상, 섬유굵기 및 충진비율을 제어할 수 있으므로 매트릭스 내 섬유의 충진, 분산 또는 보강을 효율적으로 조절하고, 나아가 섬유의 고밀화가 가능한 공정이다. 나아가, 본 발명의 제조방법으로부터 제조된 섬유배향 복합재는 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분이 일방향 배열되어 강도 및 탄성율이 보강되고, 섬유상 성분의 광학적 이방성에 따라 응용분야를 확대 적용할 수 있다.

도 2는 본 발명의 제조방법에서 노즐을 통해 얻어진 섬유단면 형상이고,
도 3은 본 발명의 제조방법에서 노즐에 설계된 섬유단면 형상의 일례를 도시한 것이고,
도 4 는 본 발명의 제조방법에 따른 섬유배향 복합재의 모식적 사시도이고,
도 5 내지 도 7은 본 발명의 제1실시형태로서 실시예 1 내지 3에서 제조된 섬유배향 복합재에 대한 단면 또는 표면을 관찰한 결과이고,
도 8은 본 발명의 제2실시형태로서 실시예 4에서 제조된 섬유배향 복합재의 단면 사진이다.

Claims (14)
- 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 용융온도 차이가 20℃ 이상을 충족하도록 선정하고, 상기 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분을 교차배열하여 압출기에 동시 투입하여 압출하는 제1단계;
상기 압출된 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분의 용융물이 노즐을 통과하되, 상기 섬유상 성분의 단면형상, 섬유굵기 및 충진비율이 결정된 노즐을 통과하면서, 매트릭스 내 상기 단면형상, 섬유굵기, 충진비율이 결정된 섬유상 성분이 일공정으로 일방향 분산 배열하는 제2단계; 및
상기 분산 배열된 매트릭스 성분 및 섬유상 성분의 압출물을 시트로 성형하는 제3단계;로 이루어진 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계에서 섬유상 성분의 용융온도가 250℃ 이상의 결정성 소재인 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계에서 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 표면장력의 차이가 20dyne/㎝ 이상일 때, 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분의 원형; 또는 다각형;에서 선택되는 단독 또는 그 조합에 의한 혼합형상으로 단면형상이 정밀 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계에서 매트릭스 성분 및 섬유상 성분이 1:9 내지 9:1의 중량비율로 투입된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3단계가 인플레이션 원형 다이법, T형 다이법, 슬릿다이압출법 및 공압출법으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나로 수행된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3단계의 시트 성형 이후, 연신 단계를 더 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
- 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분이 시트의 길이방향 대비 연속상으로 일방향 배열되고, 상기 시트 길이방향의 직각방향 대비 불연속상으로 배열되되,
상기 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 용융온도 차이가 20℃ 이상이고,
상기 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분이 원형; 또는 다각형;에서 선택되는 단독 또는 그 조합에 의한 혼합의 단면형상; 또는 상기 원형; 또는 다각형;에서 선택되는 단독 또는 그 조합의 형상으로부터 일축방향으로 연장된 플랫 단면형상;으로 배열된 구조의 섬유배향 복합재. - 삭제
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분이 10 내지 90중량% 비율로 충진된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 원형; 또는 다각형;에서 선택되는 단면형상이 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 표면장력 차이가 20dyne/㎝ 이상일 때 유지된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 일축방향으로 연장된 플랫 단면형상이 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 표면장력 차이가 20dyne/㎝ 미만일 때 유지된 것을 특징으로 하는 섬유배향 복합재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계에서 매트릭스 성분과 섬유상 성분간의 표면장력의 차이가 20dyne/㎝ 미만일 때, 매트릭스 내 섬유상 성분의 원형; 또는 다각형;에서 선택되는 단독 또는 그 조합의 혼합형상이 일축방향으로 연장된 플랫 단면형상으로 정밀 배열된 것을 특징으로 섬유배향 복합재의 제조방법.
