Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 하나 이상의 칼라미틱 반응성 메소젠(RM), 및기판 상에서 중합가능한 액정(LC) 물질의 호메오트로픽 정렬을 유도 또는 촉진하기 위한 첨가제로서의 셀룰로스 에스터를 포함하는 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,기판이 유리 또는 석영 시트, 또는 플라스틱 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,기판이 폴리에스터, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트(PET), 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트(PEN), 폴리바이닐알콜(PVA), 폴리카본에이트(PC), 트라이아세틸셀룰로스(TAC), 비누화(saponified) TAC 또는 폴리이미드의 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,용매가 없는 중합가능한 액정 물질 중의 셀룰로스 에스터의 농도가 0.1 내지 5%인 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,셀룰로스 에스터가 셀룰로스 나이트레이트, 셀룰로스 아세테이트, 셀룰로스 프로피온에이트, 셀룰로스 뷰티레이트, 셀룰로스 아세테이트 뷰티레이트 및 셀룰로스 아세테이트 프로피온에이트로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,중합가능한 액정 물질이 하나 이상의 일반응성 및 하나 이상의 이반응성 또는 다반응성 칼라미틱 반응성 메소젠(RM)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,중합가능한 액정 물질이 (a) 하나 이상의 일반응성 칼라미틱 RM; (b) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 이반응성 또는 다반응성 칼라미틱 RM; (c) 하나 이상의 셀룰로스 에스터; (d) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 광개시제; (e) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 일반응성, 이반응성 또는 다반응성 중합가능한 비-메소제닉(non-mesogenic) 화합물; (f) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 쇄 전이제; (g) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 표면-활성 화합물; (h) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 안정화제; 및 (i) 선택적으로 하나 이상의 용매를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,중합가능한 액정 물질이 하나 이상의 유기 용매를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,유기 용매가 사이클로헥산온, 톨루엔, 자일렌, 아이소프로필 알콜 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,용매가 없는 중합가능한 액정 물질의 표면 장력이 25 내지 75mNm-1인 것을 특징으로 하는, 중합가능한 액정 물질.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 액정 물질로부터 호메오트로픽 정렬이 유도된 중합된 액정 물질을 포함하는 호메오트로픽 필름.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,0.1 내지 5㎛의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 호메오트로픽 필름.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 중합가능한 액정 물질을 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이(LCD), 광학 또는 전기광학 컴포넌트, 및 장식 또는 보안 마킹(marking)으로부터 선택되는 물품.
