Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 말단 단부, 측부 표면, 및 상기 측부 표면에 형성된 두 개의 구멍들을 구비한 견고한 몸체; 및상기 몸체의 말단 단부를 향하여 연결되는 제거 부재(ablating member)로서, 상기 제거 부재는 전개-불가능한(non-deployable) 손상 와이어(lesion wire)을 포함하며, 상기 손상 와이어는 상기 몸체의 측부 표면에 형성된 각 구멍을 통하여 연장되고, 상기 손상 와이어는 목표 조직에 손상 부위를 생성시키기 위하여 몸체의 측부 표면의 일부분으로부터 적어도 부분적으로 격리되고 또한 상기 측부 표면의 일부분을 따라서 연장된 부분을 갖는, 제거 부재;를 포함하고,상기 몸체는 목표 조직으로부터 주위의 조직을 격리시키는, 제거 기구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,몸체는 실질적으로 실린더형이고, 축방향으로 상대적으로 가느다란, 제거 기구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,손상 와이어는 상기 측부 표면의 일부분을 따라서 연장되어 몸체의 축방향과 실질적으로 정렬되는, 제거 기구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,손상 와이어는 몸체의 측부 표면 위로 외부적으로 연장된, 제거 기구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,몸체는 도전성 소재로 만들어지고, 제거 부재의 손상 와이어는 몸체 내에서 절연되는, 제거 기구.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,몸체의 측부 표면을 따라서 연장된 열 센서를 더 포함하는, 제거 기구.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,열 센서는 열 센서 주위의 임피던스 및 열 센서 주위의 온도 중의 적어도 하나를 측정하는, 제거 기구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,몸체는 관절화된 말단 팁(articulated distal tip)을 더 포함하는, 제거 기구.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,안내 시스템(guidance system)을 더 포함하는, 제거 기구.
- 목표 영역을 부분적으로 격리시키고 측부 표면을 포함하는 몸체 수단;에너지원 수단으로부터 에너지를 받는 제거 수단으로서, 손상부위를 생성시키기 위하여 몸체 수단의 측부 표면을 따라서 그리고 그 측부 표면에 대해 외부적으로 연장된, 제거 수단; 및임피던스(impedance) 또는 온도를 측정하기 위한 열 센서 수단;을 포함하는, 제거 기구.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,안내 수단을 더 포함하는, 제거 기구.
- 제 15 항의 제거 기구를 환자 내로 삽입하는 단계;목표 조직 주위에서 제거 기구의 제거 부재의 방위를 정하는 단계; 및제거 기구의 몸체가 목표 조직으로부터 그 주변의 조직을 격리시키는 상태로 목표 조직을 제거하는 단계;를 포함하는, 동물의 목표 조직 제거 방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,목표 영역의 임피던스, 목표 영역의 온도, 및 제거 부재의 온도 중의 적어도 하나를 측정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 동물의 목표 조직 제거 방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,민감한 영역의 임피던스 및/또는 온도를 모니터링(monitoring)하기 위하여 환자의 민감한 영역 주위에서 상기 열 센서의 방위를 정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 동물의 목표 조직 제거 방법.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,열 센서가 설정점의 온도 및/또는 임피던스(set point temperature and/or impedance)를 측정하는 때에, 목표 조직의 제거를 중단하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 동물의 목표 조직 제거 방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 제거 기구를 환자 내로 삽입하는 단계는, 척추 신경근 절단 수술, 폐 제거, 기관 제거, 및 신경 단부 제거 중의 적어도 하나를 포함하는 시술을 위한 것인, 동물의 목표 조직 제거 방법.
