Claims (3)
- 화소의 집합으로 이루어진 표시화면을 갖는 FFS 방식의 액정표시장치에 있어서,하나의 화소 각각은"<"형태의 슬릿을 가지는 화소 전극을 구비하며, 인가되는 전압에 의해 상기 "<"형태의 슬릿과 대응하는 방향으로 액정분자가 기울어지도록 배향 제어된 표시 제어 영역과,"─" 또는 "│"형태의 슬릿을 가지는 시야각 제어 전극을 구비하며, 상기 표시 제어 영역의 공통 라인과는 독립한 시야각 제어라인을 통해 인가되는 제어전압에 따라 액정 분자가 상하방위 또는 좌우 방위로 기울어지도록 배향제어되는 시야각 제어 영역을 구비하며,상기 표시 제어 영역과 시야각 제어 영역에는 공통 전극이 공통으로 형성되며,상기 시야각 제어 영역에 대향하는 기판 위에 칼라 필터에 의한 착색층을 만들지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.

- 기판 상에 게이트 전극, 게이트 패드, 데이터 패드를 형성하는 제 1 공정과,게이트 절연막을 형성함과 함께 상기 게이트 전극상에 소오스 전극 및 드레인 전극을 형성하는 제 2 공정과,제 1 패시베이션층 및 포토 아크릴층을 상기 기판 전면에 차례로 형성한 후에 콘택홀을 형성하는 제 3 공정과,표시 제어 영역용 및 시야각 제어용의 공통 전극과, 채널 영역 상의 공통전극을 상기 소오스 전극과 화소 전극이 접촉되는 영역에서 분리하여 형성하는 제 4 공정과,제 2 패시베이션층을 상기 기판 전면에 형성한 후 콘택홀을 형성하는 제 5 공정과,상기 표시 제어 영역에 "<"형태의 슬릿을 가지는 상기 화소전극을 형성함과 함께 각각의 화소의 표시 제어 영역에 대응하는 시야각 제어 영역의 액정 분자가 상하방향 및 좌우방향으로 기울어지도록 배향제어되도록 시야각 제어 라인을 통해 제어전압이 인가되는 시야각 제어 전극을 형성하는 제 6 공정을 구비하며,상기 표시 제어 영역은 인가되는 전압에 의해 상기 "<"형태의 슬릿과 대응하는 방향으로 액정분자가 기울어지도록 배향 제어되며,상기 시야각 제어 영역은 상기 시야각 제어 라인을 통해 인가되는 제어 전압에 의해 "─" 또는 "│" 형태의 슬릿과 대응하는 좌우 방위 또는 상하 방위로 액정 분자가 기울어지도록 배향제어되며,상기 시야각 제어 영역에 대향하는 기판 위에 칼라 필터에 의한 착색층을 만들지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 FFS 방식의 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
