상기 메소제닉기 MG1 및 MG2 중 하나 이상은, -CF2O- 및 -OCF2-로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 연결기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Claims (10)
- 하기 화학식 1의 바이메소제닉 화합물:화학식 1R1-MG1-X1-SP-X2-MG2-R2상기 식에서,R1 및 R2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 F, Cl, CN, NCS, 또는 치환되지 않거나 할로겐 또는 CN에 의해 일- 또는 다치환될 수 있는 1 내지 25개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 직쇄 또는 분지된 알킬기이고, 여기서 또한 하나 이상의 인접하지 않은 CH2기는, 산소 원자가 서로 직접 연결되지 않는 방식으로, 각각의 경우 서로 독립적으로 -O-, -S-, -NH-, -N(CH3)-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -O-CO-O-, -S-CO-, -CO-S-, -CH=CH-, -CH=CF-, -CF=CF- 또는 -C≡C-에 의해 치환될 수 있고;MG1 및 MG2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 메소제닉기이고;SP는 4 내지 40개의 탄소 원자를 포함하는 스페이서기(spacer group)이고, 여기서 하나 이상의 인접하지 않은 CH2기는 또한 -O-, -S-, -NH-, -N(CH3)-, -CO-, -O-CO-, -S-CO-, -O-COO-, -CO-S-, -CO-O-, -CH(할로겐)-, -CH(CN)-, -CH=CH- 또는 -C≡C-에 의해 치환될 수 있고;X1 및 X2는 각각 독립적으로 -O-, -S-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -O-CO-O-, -CO-NH-, -NH-CO-, -CH2CH2-, -OCH2-, -CH2O-, -SCH2-, -CH2S-, -CH=CH-, -CH=CH-COO-, -OCO-CH=CH-, -C≡C- 또는 단일결합이고;상기 메소제닉기 MG1 및 MG2 중 하나 이상은, -CF2O- 및 -OCF2-로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 연결기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,MG1 및 MG2가 하기 화학식 2에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이메소제닉 화합물:화학식 2-A1-(Z1-A2)m-상기 식에서,MG1 및 MG2 중 적어도 하나 이상에 있어서,하나 이상의 Z1은 -CF20- 또는 -OCF2-이고;나머지의 Z1은 각각 서로 독립적으로 -COO-, -OCO-, -O-CO-O-, -OCH2-, -CH2O-, -CH2CH2-, -(CH2)4-, -CF2CF2-, -CH2CF2-, -CF2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -CF=CF-, -CH=CH-COO-, -OCO-CH=CH-, -C≡C-, -CF2O-, -OCF2- 또는 단일결합이고;A1 및 A2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 1,4-페닐렌(여기서 하나 이상의 CH기는 N에 의해 치환될 수 있음), 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌(여기서 하나 또는 두개의 인접하지 않은 CH2기는 O 및/또는 S에 의해 치환될 수 있음), 1,4-사이클로헥센일렌, 1,4-바이사이클로-(2,2,2)-옥틸렌, 피페리딘-1,4-다이일, 나프탈렌-2,6-다이일, 데카하이드로나프탈렌-2,6-다이일, 1,2,3,4-테트라하이드로-나프탈렌-2,6-다이일, 사이클로뷰테인-1,3-다이일, 스파이로[3.3]헵테인-2,6-다이일 또는 다이스파이로[3.1.3.1]데케인-2,8-다이일이고, 이들 모든 기는 치환되지 않거나 F, Cl, CN 또는 1 내지 7개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬, 알콕시, 알킬카본일 또는 알콕시카본일기(여기서 하나 이상의 H 원자는 F 또는 Cl로 치환될 수 있음)로 일-, 이-, 삼- 또는 사치환될 수 있고;m은 0, 1, 2 또는 3이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,R1 및 R2가 F, Cl, CN, NO2, OCH3, COCH3, COC2H5, COOCH3, COOC2H5, CF3, C2F5, OCF3, OCHF2 및 OC2F5로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이메소제닉 화합물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,SP가 -(CH2)o- 이고 o가 5 내지 15의 정수인 것을 특징으로 하는 바이메소제닉 화합물.
- 삭제
- 2종 이상의 성분을 포함하고 이들 성분 중 하나 이상이 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 바이메소제닉 화합물인 액정 매질.
- 2종 이상의 성분을 포함하고 이들 성분 중 하나 이상이 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 바이메소제닉 화합물인 액정 매질을 갖는 액정 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,플렉소일렉트릭 장치인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,내측 표면이 혼성 배향 조건을 나타내는 두개의 평면 평행 전극을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
