Abstract
본 발명의 중합체는 모발에 코팅되어 스타일링을 주는 기능 외에 폴리알킬렌옥사이드와 장쇄 알킬기를 함유함으로써 샴푸, 린스 또는 모발 정발제로 사용 후 물로 세정시 쉽게 린스-오프 될 수 있도록 계면활성작용 기능을 발휘하며, 각종 오일 제제에서 장쇄 알킬기의 상호간 회합 및 폴리알킬렌옥사이드의 수친화력으로 물과의 수소결합에 의한 고분자 사슬 엉김과 확장에 의한 점성 증가를 유도할 수 있는 것으로, 제조과정시 악취를 제거함은 물론, 악취가 제거된 상기 효과를 갖는 중합체를 제공하는 효과가 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 중합체는 점도 개질제, 유동성 향상제, 에멀젼 안정제 등으로서 헤어린스, 샴푸, 모발케어제품, 바디케어제품 및 각종 화장품 분야에 보다 넓게 적용될 수 있다.

Claims (16)
- (a) 환류 냉각기 및 교반기를 포함하는 반응 용기에 탄화수소계 용제를 투입한 후, 82 ~ 90℃로 승온하는 단계;
(b) 이 후, C1 ~ C8의 알킬기를 포함하는 단쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머, C12 ~ C18의 알킬기를 포함하는 장쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머, 소프 모노머(soap monomer) 및 (메타)아크릴산을 상기 탄화수소계 용제에 용해시켜 단량체 혼합물 용액을 제조하는 단계;
(c) 상기 반응 용기에 상기 탄화수소계 용제로 용해한 개시제 용액과 상기 단량체 혼합물 용액을 연속적으로 적하하는 단계;
(d) 상기 단량체 혼합물 용액과 개시제 용액의 투입이 완료된 시점에서 이후 82 ~ 90℃의 온도를 유지시켜 중합을 진행하는 단계;
(e) 상기 반응 용기에 탄소수 C1 ~ C10계 저비점 용제를 적하하는 단계;
(f) 82 ~ 90℃의 온도에서 진공 감압하여 탈용제 과정을 거치는 단계; 및
(g) 탈용제 과정을 거친 상기 f)의 결과물을 상온에서 냉각하고 여과하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 소프 모노머(soap monomer)는 하기 화학식 3으로 표시되는 폴리알킬렌옥사이드 함유 알킬(메타)아크릴레이트이며,
상기 탄소수 C1 ~ C10계 저비점 용제는 상기 탄화수소계 용제보다 비점이 낮은 비점 60 ~ 100℃ 내의 것으로서, 메탄올, 에탄올 및 이소프로필 알코올 중 선택된 어느 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는,
(메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법:

상기 식에서, R1은 수소 또는 메틸기이고; R2는 에틸렌 옥사이드, 프로필렌 옥사이드 또는 에틸렌 옥사이드-프로필렌 옥사이드 블록이며; R3는 C12 ~ C22의 알킬기이고; n은 10 내지 100의 정수이다.
- (a) 환류 냉각기 및 교반기를 포함하는 반응 용기에 탄화수소계 용제를 투입한 후, 82 ~ 90℃로 승온하는 단계;
(b) C1 ~ C8의 알킬기를 포함하는 단쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머, C12 ~ C18의 알킬기를 포함하는 장쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머, 소프 모노머(soap monomer) 및 (메타)아크릴산을 상기 탄화수소계 용제에 용해시켜 단량체 혼합물 용액을 제조하는 단계;
(c) 상기 반응 용기에 탄소수 C1 ~ C10계 저비점 용제를 연속하여 적하하는 단계;
(d) 상기 반응 용기에 상기 탄화수소계 용제로 용해한 개시제 용액과 상기 단량체 혼합물 용액을 각각 별개의 적하기를 통해 3 ~ 4시간에 걸쳐 연속적으로 적하하면서 중합을 진행하는 단계;
(e) 상기 탄소수 C1 ~ C10계 저비점 용제 및 단량체 혼합물 용액의 투입이 완료된 시점에서 개시제 용액을 추가로 연속적으로 반응기에 적하하고, 이후 82 ~ 90℃의 온도를 1 ~ 3시간 동안 유지하면서 중합을 진행하는 단계;
(f) 상기 (e)에 의해 중합을 진행한 후, 82 ~ 90℃의 온도에서 진공 감압을 통해 탈용제 과정을 거치는 단계; 및
(g) 상기 탈용제 과정을 거친 중합체 용액을 상온에서 냉각하고 여과하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 소프 모노머(soap monomer)는 하기 화학식 3으로 표시되는 폴리알킬렌옥사이드 함유 알킬(메타)아크릴레이트이며,
상기 탄소수 C1 ~ C10계 저비점 용제는 상기 탄화수소계 용제보다 비점이 낮은 비점 60 ~ 100℃ 내의 것으로서, 메탄올, 에탄올 및 이소프로필 알코올 중 선택된 어느 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는,

상기 식에서, R1은 수소 또는 메틸기이고; R2는 에틸렌 옥사이드, 프로필렌 옥사이드 또는 에틸렌 옥사이드-프로필렌 옥사이드 블록이며; R3는 C12 ~ C22의 알킬기이고; n은 10 내지 100의 정수이다.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계의 C1 ~ C8의 알킬기를 포함하는 단쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머는 30 내지 60중량%, C12 ~ C18의 알킬기를 포함하는 장쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머는 30 내지 60중량%, 소프 모노머(soap monomer)는 1 내지 10중량% 및 (메타)아크릴산은 1 내지 10 중량%로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머는 메틸(메타)아크릴레이트, 노르말 부틸(메타)아크릴레이트, 이소부틸(메타)아크릴레이트, t-부틸(메타)아크릴레이트 및 2-에틸헥실(메타)아크릴레이트로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되는 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 장쇄(메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머는 라우릴(메타)아크릴레이트, 팔미틸(메타)아크릴레이트 및 스테아릴(메타)아크릴레이트로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되는 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소계 용제는 이소파라핀계 용제 및 지방산에스테르계 용제로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.

- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 개시제는 연쇄이동체(chain transfer agent)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 개시제와 상기 연쇄이동체(chain transfer agent)는 중량 기준 2:1 내지 3:1의 비율로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 연쇄이동체는 머캡탄(mercaptan)계인 n-도데실 머캡탄(n-dodecyl mercaptan) 이나 t-도데실 머캡탄(t-dodecyl mercaptan) 또는 α-메틸 스티렌 다이머(α-metyl styrene dimer)에서 선택된 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 연쇄이동체는 α-메틸 스티렌 다이머(α-metyl styrene dimer) 인 것을 특징으로 하는 (메타)아크릴레이트 중합체의 제조방법.
