Claims (14)
- 서로 대향된 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판, 상기 제 1 기판 상에 형성된 화소 전극, 상기 화소 전극을 덮도록 형성된 제1 배향막, 상기 제2 기판 하부에 형성된 공통 전극, 상기 공통 전극을 덮도록 형성된 제2 배향막 및 상기 제1 기판과 제2 기판 사이에 형성되어 상기 화소 전극과 공통 전극의 제1 수직 전계에 의해 구동되는 제1 액정층을 포함하는 제1 패널부;상기 제2 기판, 상기 제2 기판과 대향된 제3 기판, 상기 제2 기판 상에 형성된 제1 전극, 상기 제1 전극을 덮도록 형성된 제3 배향막, 상기 제3 기판 하부에 형성된 제2 전극, 상기 제2 전극을 덮도록 형성된 제4 배향막 및 상기 제2 기판과 제3 기판 사이에 형성되어 상기 제1 전극과 제2 전극의 제2 수직 전계에 의해 수평 배향 상태에서 경사각을 가지도록 구동되는 제2 액정층을 포함한 제2 패널부;상기 제1 패널부 하부에 형성되며, 상기 제1 배향막의 러빙 방향과 나란한 방향의 투과축을 가지며 형성되는 하부 편광판;상기 제2 패널부 상부에 형성되며 상기 하부 편광판의 투과축과 수직한 투과축을 가지도록 형성되는 상부 편광판; 및상기 제2 기판의 상부 또는 하부에 형성되며 상기 상부 편광판의 투과축과 나란한 투과축을 가지도록 형성되는 제3 편광판 또는 광시야각 보상필름을 포함하며,상기 제3 배향막 및 제4 배향막은 단위 화소마다 제1 도메인 영역과 제2 도메인 영역을 포함하는 2 이상의 도메인으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 패널부는 ECB 모드의 패널을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 배향막의 러빙방향은 상기 제1 기판의 길이방향에 대해 -45˚이고, 상기 제2 배향막의 러빙방향은 상기 제2 기판의 길이방향에 대해 45˚인 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 액정층의 장축은 하부 편광판의 투과축과 수직 또는 나란한 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 도메인 영역 및 제2 도메인 영역 중 어느 하나의 영역의 러빙 방향은 상기 제2 기판 또는 제3 기판의 길이방향에 대해 45˚인 것을 특징으로 하고,다른 하나의 영역의 러빙 방향은 상기 제2 기판 또는 제3 기판의 길이방향에 대해 135˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 도메인 영역 및 제2 도메인 영역 중 어느 하나의 영역의 러빙 방향은 상기 제2 기판 또는 제3 기판의 길이방향에 대해 -45˚인 것을 특징으로 하고,다른 하나의 영역의 러빙 방향은 상기 제2 기판 또는 제3 기판의 길이방향에 대해 -135˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 하부 편광판 및 상기 제3 편광판은 광시야각 보상필름을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 액정층의 틸트각이 10˚ 내지 80˚가 되도록 함에 있어서,상기 제2 패널부에 인가되는 구동 전압범위가 1V 내지 4V로 형성하고;상기 제2 패널부의 셀 갭을 4㎛로 형성하여상기 제2 액정층을 투과하는 빛의 위상 지연 범위가 15nm 내지 140nm 인 것을 포함하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 액정층의 틸트각이 10˚ 내지 80˚가 되도록 함에 있어서,상기 제2 패널부에 인가되는 구동 전압범위가 1V 내지 4V로 형성하고;상기 제2 패널부의 셀 갭을 3.4㎛로 형성하여상기 제2 액정층을 투과하는 빛의 위상 지연 범위가 14nm 내지 120nm 인 것을 포함하는 시야각 제어 액정표시장치.
