Abstract
직사각형 형상의 횡단면을 가지는 주물편(1)을 연속 주조할 때에, 주물편 두께 중심부의 중심 고상율 fS가 적어도 0.1~0.9인 범위를, 주조 방향 길이 1m당, 주물편(1)의 두께 방향의 압하율이 1% 이내가 되도록 하여 연속해서 경압하함과 더불어, 이 중심 고상율 fS가 0.1~0.9인 범위 내의 적어도 1개소에 있어서, 주물편(1)이 상대하는 양측의 단변면을, 서로 이웃하는 핀치 롤(2a, 2b)쌍 사이에 배치한 금형(3)을 이용해, 타격 진동 주파수가 4~12Hz, 진동 에너지가 30~150J로, 주물편 폭방향으로 연속하여 타격하는 장치이다.
주물편폭이 큰 주물편이어도, 중심 편석이나 V 편석 등의 편석의 발생을 효과적으로 방지하며, 내부 품질이 양호한 주물편을 얻을 수 있게 된다.
Description
도 2는 타격 장치의 금형과 주물편의 위치 관계를 설명한 도면이며, (a)는 타격 장치의 대기 위치를 나타내는 도면, (b)는 금형을 주물편의 단변면에 누른 상태를 나타낸 도면, (c)는 (b)의 위치를 기점으로 하여 금형을 소정량 되돌린 상태를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 3은 다른 타격 장치의 금형과 주물편의 위치 관계를 설명한 도면이며, (a)는 타격 장치의 대기 위치를 나타내는 도면, (b)는 누름 가이드를 주물편의 단변면에 맞닿게 한 상태를 나타낸 도면, (c)는 타격중인 상태를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 4는 고탄소강인 경우의 중심 고상율이 0.1~0.9인 영역의 주조 방향 길이와 미응고 두께를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 5는 중탄소강인 경우의 중심 고상율이 0.1~0.9인 영역의 주조 방향 길이와 미응고 두께를 나타낸 도면이다.

Claims (1)
- 직사각형 형상의 횡단면을 가지는 주물편을 연속 주조할 때에, 주물편 두께 중심부의 중심 고상율 fS가 적어도 0.1~0.9인 범위를, 주조 방향 길이 1m당, 주물편의 두께 방향의 압하율(壓下率)이 1% 이내가 되도록 하여 연속해서 경압하(輕壓下)함과 아울러, 이 중심 고상율 fS가 0.1~0.9인 범위 내의 적어도 1개소에서, 주물편의 상대하는 양측의 단변면을, 타격 진동 주파수가 4~12Hz, 진동 에너지가 30~150J로, 주물편 폭방향으로 연속하여 타격하는 장치로서,
주물편의 단변면을 타격하는 금형과,
주기적인 진동을 발생시켜 이 진동을 상기 금형에 전달하는 타격 장치와,
상기 금형과 주물편의 단변면 사이의 면간 거리를 설정하는 타격 위치 결정 장치를 가지며,
상기 금형은, 복수 단의 핀치 롤 쌍으로 구성되는 경압하 존(zone)의, 적어도 서로 이웃하는 2단의 핀치 롤 쌍 사이에 있어서의 주물편 단변면을 일체로 하여 일괄 타격할 수 있는 구조로 이루어지고,
상기 타격 위치 결정 장치는, 상기 금형의 주물편 단변면으로의 누름 위치의 검출 후, 이 금형의 되돌림 위치에서의 금형의 선단면과 주물편 단변면의 간격을 설정하는 것, 또는, 주물편과 금형의 선단면의 간격을 설정하는 가이드를 누른 상태로 타격 위치 결정을 행하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 연속 주조시의 타격 진동 장치.
