Claims (9)
- 적어도, 제 1 편광막, 제 1 리타데이션 영역, 제 2 리타데이션 영역, 액정층 및 블랙 상태에서 한 쌍의 기판 표면에 대해 평행하게 배향되는 액정층의 액정 분자를 사이에 두고 상기 액정층이 샌드위치되는 한 쌍의 기판을 포함하는 액정셀, 및 제 2 편광막이 순서대로 내부에 배치된 액정 디스플레이 장치로서,상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역의 면내 리타데이션 (Re1) 은 70㎚ 내지 330㎚ 이고;"Rth1" 가 상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역의 두께 방향에서의 리타데이션이고, "Re1" 가 상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역의 면내 리타데이션인, [Nz=Rth1/Re1+0.5] 로 정의된 상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역의 Nz 값은 0 을 초과하고 0.5 미만이며;상기 제 2 리타데이션 영역의 면내 리타데이션 (Re2) 은 50㎚ 이하이고, 광축은 상기 제 2 리타데이션 영역의 평면 내에 포함되지 않으며, 상기 제 2 리타데이션 영역의 두께 방향에서의 리타데이션 (Rth2) 은 10㎚ 내지 140㎚ 이고;상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역의 지상축 (slow axis) 은 상기 제 1 편광막의 투과축에 수직이며; 및상기 제 1 편광막의 투과축은 블랙 상태에서 상기 액정층의 상기 액정 분자의 지상축 방향에 평행한, 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광막 또는 상기 제 2 편광막 중 적어도 하나를 샌드위치하는 한 쌍의 보호막을 포함하고,상기 액정층에 가까운 단부에 배치된 하나 이상의 상기 보호막은 40㎚ 내지 -100㎚ 의 두께 방향에서의 리타데이션 Rth 을 가지는, 액정 디스플레이 장치.

- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광막 또는 상기 제 2 편광막 중 적어도 하나를 샌드위치하는 한 쌍의 보호막을 포함하고,상기 액정층에 가까운 단부에 배치된 하나 이상의 상기 보호막은 20㎚ 내지 -20㎚ 의 두께 방향에서의 리타데이션 Rth 을 가지는, 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광막 또는 상기 제 2 편광막 중 적어도 하나를 샌드위치하는 한 쌍의 보호막을 포함하고,상기 액정층에 가까운 단부에 배치된 하나 이상의 상기 보호막은 60㎛ 이하의 두께를 가지는, 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광막 또는 상기 제 2 편광막 중 적어도 하나를 샌드위치하는 한 쌍의 보호막을 포함하고,상기 액정층에 가까운 단부에 배치된 하나 이상의 상기 보호막은 셀룰로스 아실레이트막 또는 노보렌계 막 (norbornene based film) 을 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 리타데이션 영역 및 상기 제 2 리타데이션 영역은 상기 액정셀의 한쌍의 기판의 시인측의 상기 기판보다 한쌍의 기판의 시인측의 반대 측의 상기 기판에 더 가까운 위치에 배치되는, 액정 디스플레이 장치.
