Description
Claims (14)
- 실린더블록(2)의 폭방향을 횡방향으로 하여,실린더블록(2)의 횡방향 측에 커먼레일(common rail, 3)을 배치할 때,흡기분배수단(5)과 배기합류수단(22)의 어느 것인가로 선택되는 통로형성수단(23)을 커먼레일(3)의 바로 위에 배치하고,이 통로형성수단(23)을, 분기관이 없는 박스 모양 구조로 하며,크랭크축(1)의 길이방향을 전후방향으로 하여, 그 한쪽을 전방으로 해서,커먼레일(3)의 전방에 엔진냉각팬(4)을 배치하고,통로형성수단(23)의 아래쪽을 냉각풍(冷却風)이 통과하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형(縱型) 다기통 디젤 엔진.

- 제1항에 있어서,통로형성수단(23)의 하부벽(5a)에 장착볼트(6)의 보스(boss, 6a)를 설치하여, 이 보스(6a)를 통로형성수단(23)의 하부벽(5a)으로부터 아래쪽으로 돌출시킴과 아울러, 이 보스(6a)가 통로형성수단(23)의 하부벽(5a)을 횡방향으로 가로지르도록 하여, 통로형성수단(23)의 하부벽(5a)을 따라 흐르는 냉각풍이 보스(6a)에 의해 아래쪽으로 편향되도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,크랭크축(1)의 길이방향을 전후방향으로 하여, 그 한쪽을 전방, 다른쪽을 후방으로 해서,엔진의 후부(後部)에 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를 연동하는 기어 트레인(gear train, 8)을 배치하고, 기어 트레인(8)을 기어 트레인 수용부(9)에 수용하며, 기어 트레인 수용부(9)의 일부를 횡방향으로 돌출시켜 이 돌출부(9a)의 전면(前面)에 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를 장착하고, 커먼레일(3)의 후단부(後端部)에 그 후방으로부터 기어 트레인 수용부(9)의 돌출부(9a)를 대향시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제5항에 있어서,커먼레일(3)의 후단부에, 그 횡방향의 외측으로부터 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를 대향시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,실린더헤드(10)에 헤드커버(11)를 장착하고, 커먼레일(3)로부터 분사기(12)에 이르는 파이프(13)를 도출하며, 헤드커버(11)의 커먼레일(3)측의 횡벽(11a)의 일부를 헤드커버(11)의 다른 부분보다 내측을 향해 오목하게 들어가게 하고, 이 오목하게 들어간 횡벽의 오목부(11b)의 내부(11c)에 삽입구(揷入口)(11d)를 형성하며, 이 삽입구(11d)로부터 분사기접속부(13a)를 삽입하여, 이 분사기접속부(13a)에서 상기 파이프(13)를 헤드커버(11) 내의 분사기(12)와 접속시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,커먼레일(3) 위쪽의 통로형성수단(23)의 아래쪽에 커먼레일 분사시스템을 제어하는 전자제어장치(14)를 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,크랭크축(1)의 길이방향을 전후방향으로 하여, 그 한쪽을 후방으로 해서,실린더헤드(10)의 후방에서, 기어 트레인 수용부(9)의 위쪽에 EGR냉각기(15)를 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,흡기분배수단(5)의 상부(上部)에 EGR밸브(16)를 장착한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서,크랭크축(1)의 길이방향을 전후방향으로 하여, 그 한쪽을 전방, 다른쪽을 후방으로 해서,엔진의 전부(前部)에 벨트전동장치(17)를 배치하고, 엔진의 후부(後部)에 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를 연동하는 기어 트레인(8)을 배치하며, 기어 트레인(8)을 기어 트레인 수용부(9)에 수용하고, 기어 트레인 수용부(9)의 일부를 횡방향으로 돌출시켜, 이 돌출부(9a)의 전면(前面)에 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를 장착하고, 이 펌프(7)의 전방에 벨트전동장치(17)의 벨트장력기(18)를 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제11항에 있어서,발전기(19)를 벨트장력기(18)로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제11항에 있어서,커먼레일(3)이 있는 쪽에서, 커먼레일(3)용 펌프(7)를, 실린더블록(2)의 상부 근처 부분(2a)의 횡방향 일측에 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
- 제13항에 있어서,커먼레일(3)이 있는 쪽에서, 실린더블록(2)의 상하방향 중앙부(2b)의 횡방향 일측에, 오일냉각기(20)와 시동모터(21)를 전후로 분리해서 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 종형 다기통 디젤 엔진.
