Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 유기 발광 소자를 포함하는 표시 기판;상기 표시 기판 상에 이격 배치되어 상기 표시 기판과 합착 밀봉된 봉지 기판; 그리고상기 표시 기판과 상기 봉지 기판 사이의 공간을 메우는 충전제를 포함하며,상기 충전제는 외부에서 상기 봉지 기판을 통해 유입되어 상기 표시 기판의 유기 발광 소자로 향하는 외광(外光)을 파장대역별로 선별적으로 흡수하여 투과율을 조절하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 충전제는 상기 외광 중 파장이 430nm 내지 670nm 범위 내에 속하는 빛을 흡수하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 충전제에 대한 상기 외광의 파장대역별 투과율은 480nm 내지 510nm 범위 내 및 580nm 내지 610nm 범위 내보다 520nm 내지 560nm 범위 내에서 더 높은 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 충전제에 대한 상기 외광의 파장대역별 투과율을 나타내는 그래프는 460nm 내지 620nm 범위 내에서 2개의 극소점들과 1개의 극대점을 갖는 4차함수 그래프와 같은 W형으로 형성된 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 2개의 극소점은 각각 480nm 내지 510nm 범위 내 및 580nm 내지 610nm 범위 내에 위치하며,상기 1개의 극대점은 520nm 내지 560nm 범위 내에 위치하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 유기 발광 소자의 방출광은 80% 이상이 특정한 파장대역에 속하며,상기 방출광이 속하는 특정한 파장대역은 상기 충전제에 대한 상기 외광의 투과율이 상대적으로 낮은 파장대역인 480nm 내지 510nm 범위 내 및 580nm 내지 610nm 범위 내와 비중첩된 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제6항에서,상기 유기 발광 소자의 방출광의 80% 이상은 파장이 450nm 내지 480nm 범위 내, 510nm 내지 560 nm 범위 내, 및 600nm 내지 650nm 범위 내에 속하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 충전제는 광흡수 물질을 함유한 수지(resin)를 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제8항에서,상기 충전제는 상기 광흡수 물질의 종류 및 함량에 따라 상기 외광의 투과율을 조절하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제9항에서,상기 수지는 폴리카보네이트(polycarbonate), 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트에틸렌테레프탈레이트(polyethyleneterephthalate), 및 트리아세테이트 셀룰로오스(triacetate cellulose) 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제9항에서,상기 광흡수 물질은 카본 블랙(carbon black), 폴리엔(polyene)계 안료, 아조(azo)계 안료, 아조메틴(azomethine)계 안료, 디이모늄(diimmonium)계 안료, 프탈로시아닌(phthalocyanine)계 안료, 퀴논(quinone)계 안료, 인디고(indigo)계 안료, 티오인디고(thioindigo)계 안료, 디옥사딘(dioxadin)계 안료, 퀴나크리 돈(quinacridone)계 안료, 이소인돌리논(isoindolinone)계 안료, 금속 산화물, 및 금속 착물, 및 그 밖에 방향족 탄화수소(aromatic hydrocarbons) 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
