Claims (12)
- 광 배향능(配向能)을 가진 폴리머 중 하나 이상을 A 성분으로서 함유하고, 100∼300℃의 범위에서 액정 온도 범위를 가진 폴리머 중 하나 이상을 B 성분으로서 함유하는 광 배향제.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 A 성분이 폴리아믹산, 부분 이미드화 폴리아믹산 및 폴리이미드로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 폴리머인, 광 배향제.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 A 성분이 폴리아믹산, 부분 이미드화 폴리아믹산 및 폴리이미드로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 폴리머로서 주쇄에 감광기를 가진 폴리머인, 광 배향제.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 A 성분이 폴리아믹산, 부분 이미드화 폴리아믹산 및 폴리이미드로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 폴리머로서 주쇄에 식(I)∼식(V) 및 식(X)으로 표시되는 감광기 중 하나 이상을 가진 폴리머이고, 상기 B 성분이 폴리아믹산, 부분 이미드화 폴리아믹산 및 폴리이미드로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 액정성 폴리머로서 주쇄에 1개 또는 인접하지 않은 2개의 -CH2-가 -O-, -NH-, -N(CH3)-, 또는 -Si(CH3)2OSi(CH3)2-로 치환되어 있을 수도 있는 탄소수 6∼20의 직쇄 알킬렌 구조를 가진 폴리머인, 광 배향제:상기 식에서, R1, R2 및 R3는 독립적으로 방향족인 2가의 기임.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 B 성분이 식(VI)으로 표시되는 구성 단위를 가진 폴리이미드 또는 그의 전구체인 폴리아믹산인, 광 배향제:여기서, R4는 1개 또는 인접하지 않은 2개의 -CH2-가 -O-, -NH-, -N(CH3)-, 또는 -Si(CH3)2OSi(CH3)2-로 치환되어 있을 수도 있는 탄소수 2∼20의 알킬렌, 식(VIII)으로 표시되는 2가의 기, 또는 식(IX)으로 표시되는 2가의 기이고, 구성 단위마다 상이할 수도 있고; 전체 구성 단위수의 60% 이상은 R4가 1개 또는 인접하지 않은 2개의 -CH2-가 -O-, -NH-, -N(CH3)-, 또는 -Si(CH3)2OSi(CH3)2-로 치환되어 있을 수도 있는 탄소수 6∼20의 알킬렌인 구성 단위임:식(VIII)에서, X1 및 X2는 단일 결합, -O-, -COO-, -OCO-, -NH-, -CONH-, 또는 탄소수 1∼12의 알킬렌이고; G1 및 G2는 단일 결합, 또는 탄소수 6∼12의 방향족 환 및 탄소수 3∼12의 지환족 환으로부터 선택되는 1∼3개의 환을 포함하는 2가의 기이고; R5는 수소, 플루오르, -CN, -OH, 또는 탄소수 1∼30의 알킬, 퍼플루오로알킬 또는 알콕시이고; X1, G1, X2 및 G2가 모두 단일 결합인 경우에는, R5는 탄소수 3∼30의 알킬, 퍼플루오로알킬 또는 알콕시이고, G2가 단일 결합이고 X2가 단일 결합도 아니고 알킬렌도 아닌 경우에는, R5는 수소 또는 탄소수 3∼30의 알킬이고, G1 및 G2가 모두 단일 결합인 경우에는, X1, X2 및 R5의 탄소수의 합계가 3 이상임:식(IX)에서, R6은 수소 또는 탄소수 1∼12의 알킬이고; 환 B는 임의의 수소가 탄소수 1∼4의 알킬로 치환되어 있을 수도 있는 1,4-페닐렌, 또는 임의의 수소가 탄소수 1∼4의 알킬로 치환되어 있을 수도 있는 1,4-시클로헥실렌이고; X0은 단일 결합 또는 탄소수 1∼5의 알킬렌이고; s는 0∼3의 정수이고; s가 2일 때, 2개의 환 B는 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고, 2개의 X0도 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고, s가 3일 때, 3개 또는 임의의 2개의 환 B는 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고, 3개 또는 임의의 2개의 X0도 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고; Z1 및 Z2는 독립적으로 단일 결합, -CH2-, -CH2CH2- 또는 -O-이고; t1 및 t2는 독립적으로 0∼3의 정수이고; t1이 2일 때, 2개의 Z1은 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고; t1이 3일 때, 3개 또는 임의의 2개의 Z1은 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고; t2가 2일 때, 2개의 Z2는 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고; t2가 3일 때, 3개 또는 임의의 2개의 Z2는 동일하거나 상이할 수 있음.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 A 성분과 상기 B 성분의 합계 중량을 기준으로 한 상기 A 성분의 비율이 10∼90중량%인, 광 배향제.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 광 배향제를 사용하여 제조되는 액정 배향막.
- 제10항에 기재된 광 배향막을 사용하여 제조되는 액정 표시 소자.
- 광 배향능을 가진 폴리머를 A 성분으로서 함유하고, 100∼300℃의 범위에서 액정 온도 범위를 가진 폴리머를 B 성분으로서 함유하는 광 배향제를 기판에 도포하여 성막하고, 광을 조사하여 그 막을 배향시킨 후, 상기 B 성분의 액정 온도까지 승온시키는 가열 처리를 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법.
