Description
Claims (13)
- 제 1 보호 필름;상기 제 1 보호 필름의 일면에 부착되고, 빛을 편광하기 위한 편광필름; 및상기 편광필름 상부에 배치된 광시야각 보상 액정층을 포함하고, 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층의 액정분자들은 상기 액정분자들의 각각의 최소 굴절율을 갖는 방향이 중심부로 향할수록 점차적으로 0도에 가까워지는 경사각 방향으로 기울어지고, 또한 최소 굴절률의 방향이 방위각 방향으로 트위스트된 광시야각 보상판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층은 디스코틱 액정층인 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 광시야각 보상판은 상기 편광 필름 및 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층 사이에 제 2 보호필름을 더 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 보호필름을 트리아세틸 셀룰로오스를 포함하고, 상기 편광필름은 폴리비닐 알콜을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판.
- 편광필름을 제 1 보호필름에 형성하는 단계;광시야각 보상을 위한 액정분자와 상기 액정분자를 방위각 방향으로 트위스트시키기 위한 도펀트를 포함하는 솔벤트를 상기 편광필름 상부에 도포하는 단계;상기 솔벤트를 가열하여 기화시키는 단계;상기 액정 분자를 러빙하여 경사각 방향으로 기울이는 단계; 및상기 액정분자에 자외선을 조사하는 단계를 포함하는 광시야각 보상판 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 솔벤트는 130℃로 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 액정분자는 디스코틱 액정분자인 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 편광필름 상부에 제 2 보호필름을 더 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 보호필름을 트리아세틸 셀룰로오스를 포함하고, 상기 편광필름은 폴리비닐 알콜을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광시야각 보상판 제조방법.
- 제 1 기판;상기 제 1 기판과 마주보는 제 2 기판;상기 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판 사이에 게재된 액정층; 및i)제 1 보호 필름, ii) 상기 제 1 보호 필름의 일면에 부착되고, 빛을 편광하기 위한 편광필름, 및 iii) 상기 편광필름 상부에 배치된 광시야각 보상 액정층을 포함하고, 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층의 액정 분자들은 각각의 최소 굴절율을 갖는 방향이 중심부로 향할수록 점차적으로 0도에 가까워지는 경사각 방향으로 기울어지고, 또한 최소 굴절률의 방향이 방위각 방향으로 트위스트된 광시야각 보상판을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층은 디스코틱 액정층인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 광시야각 보상판은 상기 편광 필름 및 상기 광시야각 보상 액정층 사이에 제 2 보호필름을 더 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 보호필름을 트리아세틸 셀룰로오스를 포함하고, 상기 편광필름은 폴리비닐 알콜을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
