Claims (7)
- 기판 상에 형성된 다수의 게이트 배선과;상기 게이트 배선과 교차하여 다수의 화소영역을 정의하는 다수의 데이터 배선과;상기 게이트 배선 및 상기 데이터 패선의 교차지점에 구성된 박막트랜지스터와;상기 화소영역에 구성되며, 투명 전극 패턴이 가로 방향과 세로 방향으로 소정간격 이격되고, 대각선 방향으로 근접한 투명 전극 패턴이 서로 연결된 화소전극과;상기 화소 전극 상에서 서로 다른 배향 특성을 가지는 배향 물질이 서로 다른 도메인으로 정의되는 배향막을 포함하고,상기 배향막은제 1 배향 물질을 포함하는 제 1 영역; 및상기 제 1 배향 물질과 다른 제 2 배향 물질을 포함하는 제 2 영역을 포함하고,상기 제 1 배향 물질은 러빙 방향과 같은 방향으로 배열되고,상기 제 2 배향 물질은 상기 러빙 방향과 수직한 방향으로 배열되고,상기 제 1 배향 물질은 폴리이미드를 포함하고,상기 제 2 배향 물질은 폴리스티렌을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 어레이 기판.

- 기판 상에 제 1 배향 물질을 형성하는 단계와;상기 기판 위에 포토 레지스트 패턴을 형성시키는 단계와;상기 기판 상에 제 2 배향 물질을 형성하는 단계와;상기 포토 레지스트 패턴을 제거하여 상기 포토 레지스트 패턴 상에 형성된 제 2 배향 물질을 리프트 오프(lift-off)하여 배향막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 배향막에 일 방향으로 러빙하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 어레이 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향 물질과 제 2 배향 물질은 서로 다른 배향 특성을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 어레이 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향 물질은 러빙 방향에 대해서 수평으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 어레이 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 2 배향 물질은 러빙 방향에 대해서 수직으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 어레이 기판의 제조 방법.
