Claims (6)
- 게이트 배선 및 데이터 배선이 교차하여 정의된 화소 영역에 박막 트랜지스터, 화소 전극 및 제1 배향막이 형성된 하부 기판과, 상기 하부 기판과 대향하며, 상기 게이트 배선과 데이터 배선에 오버랩되는 블랙 매트릭스, 컬러 필터 및 제2 배향막이 형성된 상부 기판과, 상기 상, 하부 기판 사이에 형성된 액정층이 구비된 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 서로 수직인 대각선 방향을 가지고,상기 데이터 배선은 상기 제1 배향막의 러빙 방향에 상기 화소 영역을 단위로 하여 수평 또는 수직을 이루도록 기울어진 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극은 상기 데이터 배선과 동일 기울기를 가지면서 상기 게이트 배선의 양측에 서로 대칭되도록 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극은 상기 데이터 배선과 동일 기울기를 가지면서 상기 데이터 배선의 양측에 서로 대칭되게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 배선 또는 데이터 배선은 한 화소 영역을 단위로 기판 상에 지 그 재그(zigzag) 패턴을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 화소 영역을 정의하는 게이트 배선 및 데이터 배선, 박막 트랜지스터 및 화소 전극을 포함하는 하부 기판을 형성하는 단계와;상기 하부 기판과 대향하여 상기 게이트 배선과 데이터 배선 및 박막 트랜지스터에 오버랩되는 블랙 매트릭스 및 컬러 필터를 포함하는 상부 기판을 형성하는 단계와;상기 하부 기판 및 상기 상부 기판에 서로 수직인 대각선 방향을 갖도록 제1 및 제2 배향막을 각각 러빙하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 데이터 배선은 상기 제1 배향막의 러빙 방향에 상기 화소 영역을 단위로 하여 수평 또는 수직을 이루도록 기울어진 형상을 갖는하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 데이터 배선에 대응하는 블랙 매트릭스는 상기 제2 배향막의 러빙 방향에 상기 화소 영역을 단위로 하여 수평 또는 수직을 이루도록 기울어진 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
