- 기판상에 금속 박막 패턴을 형성하는 단계;상기 금속 박막 패턴의 일부 영역을 노출하도록 절연막을 형성하는 단계;상기 금속 박막 패턴과 대응 접속되도록 투명 전극 패턴을 형성하는 단계;상기 투명 전극 패턴 또는 금속 박막 패턴 상면의 가장자리 영역 및 측면부에 절연성 보호막을 형성하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 금속 박막 패턴의 폭이 상기 투명 전극 패턴의 폭에 비해 1/10 내지 1/100 이 되도록하는 전기광학소자의 제작 방법.

- 기판상에 위치하는 금속 박막 패턴과, 상기 금속 박막 패턴과 대응 위치하여 접속된 투명 전극 패턴을 포함하는 전기광학소자에 있어서,상기 투명 전극 패턴과 대응 접속된 금속 박막 패턴에 전원을 인가하여, 상기 금속 박막 패턴과 접속된 투명 전극 패턴에 선택적으로 전류가 전달되는 전기광학소자의 구동 방법.
