Claims (10)
- 데이터선들 및 게이트선들의 교차부에 위치된 다수의 액정셀들을 포함하는 표시부와,주변온도를 감지하여 온도감지신호를 출력하는 온도센서와,상기 데이터선들로 소스전압을 공급하되, 상기 온도감지신호에 대응하여 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기를 조정하는 소스 증폭 레지스터부를 포함하는 소스 구동부를 구비하며,상기 소스 증폭 레지스터부는,상기 온도감지신호를 디지털 감지신호로 변환하는 아날로그-디지털 변환부와,미리 설정된 기준온도에 대응하는 기준 디지털값이 저장된 메모리와,상기 디지털 감지신호와 상기 기준 디지털값을 비교하고, 이에 대응하는 비교값을 출력하는 비교부와,상기 비교부로부터 공급된 비교값에 대응하여 소스 증폭 설정값을 조절하여 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기를 조정하는 제어부를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소스 증폭 레지스터부는 상기 주변온도가 상기 기준온도보다 낮으면 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 증가하도록 제어하는 소스 증폭 설정값을 출력하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소스 증폭 레지스터부는 상기 주변온도가 상기 기준온도보다 높으면 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 감소되도록 제어하는 소스 증폭 설정값을 출력하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,저온에 해당하는 상기 비교값이 공급되면 상기 기준온도에 비해 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 증가하도록 상기 소스 증폭 설정값을 변경하고,고온에 해당하는 상기 비교값이 공급되면 상기 기준온도에 비해 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 감소하도록 상기 소스 증폭 설정값을 변경하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소스 구동부는,샘플링 신호를 생성하는 쉬프트 레지스터부와,상기 샘플링 신호에 대응하여 자신에게 공급되는 데이터들을 저장하고, 상기 저장된 데이터들을 동시 출력하는 래치부와,상기 래치부로부터 공급되는 데이터들을 아날로그 소스전압으로 변경하여 출력하는 디지털-아날로그 변환부와,상기 아날로그 소스전압을 증폭하여 상기 데이터선들로 공급하되, 상기 소스 증폭 레지스터부로부터 출력되는 상기 소스 증폭 설정값을 제공받아 이에 대응하는 상승 기울기를 갖는 상기 소스전압을 출력하는 소스 증폭부를 더 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 주변온도를 감지하는 제1 단계와,상기 감지된 주변온도에 대응하여 소스전압의 상승 기울기를 조정하고, 상기 소스전압을 데이터선들로 출력하는 제2 단계를 포함하되,상기 제2 단계는,상기 주변온도에 대응하는 디지털 감지신호를 생성하는 단계와,상기 디지털 감지신호를 미리 설정된 기준온도에 대응하는 기준 디지털값과 비교하고, 상기 비교결과에 대응하는 소스 증폭 설정값을 생성하는 단계와,상기 소스 증폭 설정값에 대응하는 상승 기울기를 갖는 상기 소스전압을 생성하고, 이를 상기 데이터선들로 출력하는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제2 단계에서, 상기 주변온도가 상기 기준온도보다 낮으면 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 증가하도록 제어하는 소스 증폭 설정값을 생성하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제2 단계에서, 상기 주변온도가 상기 기준온도보다 높으면 상기 소스전압의 상승 기울기가 감소하도록 제어하는 소스 증폭 설정값을 생성하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
