Claims (20)
- 제1 전극, 유기 발광층, 및 제2 전극이 차례로 적층되어 만들어진 유기 발광 소자;상기 유기 발광 소자 상에 형성된 투과율 조절막;상기 투과율 조절막 상에 형성된 선택적 반사막;상기 선택적 반사막 상에 형성된 편광판; 그리고상기 유기 발광 소자와 상기 편광판 사이에 배치된 위상 지연판을 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 선택적 반사막은 콜레스테릭 액정막이며,상기 위상 지연판은 상기 편광판과 상기 콜레스테릭 액정막 사이에 배치된 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 콜레스테릭 액정막은 좌원편광 및 우원편광 중 어느 하나는 통과시키고, 다른 하나는 반사시키는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 편광판을 통과하여 선편광된 빛은 상기 위상 지연판을 통과하면 원편광으로 변하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 위상 지연판은 1/4 파장판이며,상기 위상 지연판의 광축과 상기 편광판의 편광축 간의 교각(交角)은 45인 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 선택적 반사막은 반사형 편광 필름이며,상기 위상 지연판은 상기 유기 발광 소자와 상기 투과율 조절막 사이 및 상기 투과율 조절막과 상기 반사형 편광 필름 사이 중 어느 한 곳에 배치된 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제6항에서,상기 편광판과 상기 반사형 편광 필름은 서로 동일한 편광축을 갖는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제7항에서,상기 반사형 편광 필름을 통과하여 선편광된 빛은 상기 위상 지연판을 통과 하면 원편광으로 변하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제8항에서,상기 위상 지연판은 1/4 파장판이며,상기 위상 지연판의 광축과 상기 편광판의 편광축 간의 교각(交角)은 45인 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 투과율 조절막은 광흡수 물질을 함유한 수지(resin)로 만들어진 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 투과율 조절막이 갖는 빛의 투과율은 상기 광흡수 물질의 종류 및 함량에 따라 조절된 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 투과율 조절막은 빛의 파장대역 별로 선별적인 투과율을 갖는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 수지는 폴리카보네이트(polycarbonate), 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(Polymethyl Methacrylate, PMMA), 폴리에테르설폰(polyether sulfone, PES), 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트(polyethyleneterephthalate), 및 트리아세테이트 셀룰로오스(triacetate cellulose) 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 광흡수 물질은 카본 블랙(carbon black), 폴리엔(polyene)계 안료, 아조(azo)계 안료, 아조메틴(azomethine)계 안료, 디이모늄(diimmonium)계 안료, 프탈로시아닌(phthalocyanine)계 안료, 퀴논(quinone)계 안료, 인디고(indigo)계 안료, 티오인디고(thioindigo)계 안료, 디옥사딘(dioxadin)계 안료, 퀴나크리돈(quinacridone)계 안료, 이소인돌리논(isoindolinone)계 안료, 금속 산화물, 및 금속 착물, 및 그 밖에 방향족 탄화수소(aromatic hydrocarbons) 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
