Description
Claims (20)
- 전력 제어 회로; 및상기 전력 제어 회로에 결합되고, 상기 전력 제어 회로로부터 공급 전류를 인출하고, 공급 전압을 수신하도록 구성된 전력 증폭기를 포함하고,상기 전력 제어 회로는, 센스 전류와 상기 공급 전압의 곱(product)을 제어하는 것에 의해 상기 전력 증폭기에 제공된 DC 전력을 제어하도록 구성되며,상기 전력 제어 회로는 피드백 전압을 포함하고, 상기 피드백 전압은 상기 센스 전류와 상기 공급 전압의 상기 곱에 대응하며,상기 센스 전류는 상기 공급 전류의 미러 전류(mirror current)이고,상기 전력 제어 회로는 아날로그 승산 회로(analog multiplier circuit); 및 차동 에러 증폭기(differential error amplifier)를 더 포함하고,상기 아날로그 승산 회로는 상기 센스 전류와 상기 공급 전압을 수신하여 상기 피드백 전압을 생성하도록 구성되며,상기 차동 에러 증폭기는 상기 피드백 전압을 제어 전압에 비교하여, 상기 피드백 전압과 상기 제어 전압 사이의 차이에 대응하는 에러 전압을 생성하도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는,증폭 모듈.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 증폭 모듈은 상기 전력 증폭기에 결합된 부하(load)를 더 포함하고,상기 전력 증폭기는 상기 부하에 RF 출력 전력을 제공하고, 상기 전력 제어 회로는 상기 전력 증폭기로 제공된 상기 DC 전력을 제어함으로써 상기 RF 출력 전력을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는증폭 모듈.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 최종 출력단은 GaAs 바이폴라 트랜지스터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는증폭 모듈.
- 전력 증폭기에 결합되는 전력 제어 회로로서,상기 전력 증폭기로 제공되는 공급 전압 및 공급 전류;상기 공급 전압과 센스 전류를 수신하여, 상기 공급 전압과 상기 센스 전류의 곱에 대응하는 피드백 전압을 생성하도록 구성된 아날로그 승산 회로; 및차동 에러 증폭기(differential error amplifier)를 포함하고,상기 전력 제어 회로는 상기 피드백 전압을 제어함으로써 상기 전력 증폭기에 제공된 DC 전력을 제어하도록 구성되며,상기 센스 전류는 상기 공급 전류의 미러 전류이고,상기 차동 에러 증폭기는 상기 피드백 전압을 제어 전압에 비교하여, 상기 피드백 전압과 상기 제어 전압 사이의 차이에 대응하는 에러 전압을 생성하도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는,전력 제어 회로.

- 제16항에 있어서,상기 제1 트랜지스터는 PFET인 것을 특징으로 하는전력 제어 회로.
