- 둘 이상의 탄소 원자를 지닌 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질을 위한 방법에 있어서,상기 방법은 알코올, 산소 및 물 또는 스팀의 예열된 반응 혼합물을 촉매 상에 적용시키는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 방법은 단열 방식으로 수행되며, 상기 촉매는 산화알루미늄, 이산화실리콘, 이산화티타늄 또는 이들의 혼합된 산화물 및 제올라이트로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 산화 지지체 상에 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속을 포함하고, 상기 반응 혼합물은 알코올과 동시에 개질되는 부가적인 탄화수소를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예열된 반응 혼합물은 알코올과 탄화수소의 총 중량에 기초하여 0.5~10중량%의 탄화수소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소는 디젤 연료인 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소는 가솔린인 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소는 긴-사슬 탄화수소뿐만 아니라 방향족 탄화수소도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 알코올은 에탄올로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 촉매 조성물의 총 중량에 기초하여 40중량%의 농도로 산화붕소, 산화비스무스, 산화갈륨, 산화 알칼리 금속, 산화 알칼리 토금속, 주기율표의 아족(subgroup) 원소의 산화물 및 희토규 금속 산화물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 산화물을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 촉매 조성물의 총 중량에 기초하여 0.1~2중량%의 농도로 로듐을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 20:1에서 2:1 사이의 백금, 팔라듐, 또는 이들 모두에 대한 로듐의 비율로 백금, 팔라듐, 또는 이들 모두를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서 활성 산화알루미늄은 로듐을 위한 지지체로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 산화세륨을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 이동체 상에 코팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 이동체는 단상 벌집 세라믹 또는 금속 이동체, 열린-셀 세라믹 또는 금속 폼 바디, 금속 시트 또는 불규칙적인 모양의 요소들인 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예열된 반응 혼합물은 촉매 외부에서 온도가 600~800℃가 되도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 예열된 반응 혼합물은 0.5~4로 조절되는 탄소 대 스팀의 비율을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 활성 산화알루미늄은 팔라듐, 백금, 또는 이들 모두를 위한 지지체로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 알코올의 촉매적 자열 스팀 개질 방법.
