Abstract
Description
상기 제 2 선편광판과 위상차판은 상기 CLC 컬러필터의 상부에 코팅방식으로 구성되며, 상기 CLC 컬러필터가 특정 파장대의 좌원편광을 반사하도록 구성되면 상기 CLC 편광판은 우원편광을 반사하도록 구성하고, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정 컬러필터가 특정파장대의 우원편광을 반사하도록 구성되면 상기 CLC 편광판은 좌원편광을 반사하도록 된다.
그리고 상기 액정은 TN모드이다.
Claims (7)
- 서로 마주보며 이격되고 적색과 녹색과 청색을 표현하는 다수의 화소가 정의된 제 1, 2 기판과;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이에 충진된 액정층과;상기 제 2 기판과 마주보지 않는 제 1 기판의 일면에 구성된 제 1 선편광판과;상기 제 2 기판과 액정층 사이에 위로 순차적으로 구성된 위상차판과 제 2 선편광판과;상기 제 2 기판과 상기 위상차판 사이에 형성되며, 적, 녹, 청색을 표현하는 화소에 대응하여 각각 녹색과 청색, 적색과 청색, 녹색과 적색에 대응하는 피치를 가지는 콜레스테릭 액정을 적층하여 구성한 CLC컬러필터와;상기 제 2 기판의 하부에 구성된 백라이트와;상기 제 2 기판과 백라이트 사이에 구성된 콜레스테릭 액정 편광판에 있어서, 콜레스테릭 액정 편광판을 이루는 콜레스테릭 액정은 두께 방향으로 장파장에 대응되는 피치에서 단파장에 대응되는 피치로 순차적으로 변화되도록 하고, 상기 백라이트에 근접한 콜레스테릭 액정 편광판의 일 면은 장파장 피치가 되도록 구성되며, 상기 CLC컬러필터의 콜레스테릭 액정의 꼬임과 반대되는 방향의 액정의 꼬임을 갖는 CLC편광판을 포함하는 액정표시장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 CLC 컬러필터가 특정 파장대의 좌원편광을 반사하도록 구성되면 상기 CLC 편광판은 우원편광을 반사하도록 구성하고, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정 컬러필터가 특정파장대의 우원편광을 반사하도록 구성되면 상기 CLC 편광판은 좌원편광을 반사하도록 구성되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정은 TN모드인 액정표시장치.
