Claims (18)
- 스캔 전극과 서스테인 전극이 형성되는 전면 기판과, 상기 스캔 전극과 서스테인 전극에 교차하는 어드레스 전극이 형성되는 후면 기판을 포함하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 한 프레임(Frame) 동안의 구동 방법에 있어서,리셋 기간 동안 제 1 전압에 도달하기 전까지 전압이 변하는 제 1 펄스가 스캔 전극에 공급되는 단계;상기 리셋 기간 동안 제 1 펄스가 공급된 이후 제 2 전압에 도달하기 전까지 전압이 변하며, 상기 제 1 펄스와 반대인 극성을 갖는 제 2 펄스가 스캔 전극에 공급되는 단계;상기 리셋 기간 이후의 어드레스 기간 동안 인덕터(Inductor)를 갖는 회로를 통한 데이터 신호에 대응되는 제 3 펄스가 어드레스 전극에 공급되며, 상기 제 3 펄스는 상승 기간, 유지 기간을 포함하고 상기 상승 기간은 75ns(나노초)이상 300ns(나노초)이하인 단계;상기 어드레스 기간 동안 제 4 펄스가 스캔 전극에 공급되며, 상기 제 4 펄스의 일부는 제 3 펄스의 일부와 중첩되고, 상기 제 4 펄스의 최저 전압 레벨은 제 2 펄스의 최저 전압 레벨보다 더 낮고, 상기 제 4 펄스와 제 2 펄스의 최저 전압 레벨 간의 차이는 5V이상 50V이하의 크기를 갖는 단계;광을 발산하기 위한 서스테인 기간에서 적어도 하나 이상의 인덕터를 갖는 회로를 통한 복수의 펄스가 스캔 전극에 공급되는 단계; 및상기 서스테인 기간에서 적어도 하나 이상의 인덕터를 갖는 다른 회로를 통한 복수의 펄스가 서스테인 전극에 공급되는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 리셋 기간에서 제 1 펄스가 적용되는 동안 서스테인 전극에 제 5 펄스가 더 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 5 펄스는 음(Negative) 전압 레벨을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 제 5 펄스는 가변되는 전압을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 기간 동안 서스테인 전극에 공급되는 복수의 펄스 중 적어도 어느 하나의 펄스는 상기 서스테인 기간 동안 스캔 전극에 공급되는 복수의 펄스 중 적어도 어느 하나의 펄스와 동기되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
