Claims (9)
- 외부로부터 입력된 신호를 임피던스 정합시키기 위한 입력 임피던스 정합부;상기 입력 임피던스 정합부를 경유한 신호를 증폭하기 위한 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부;상기 입력 신호의 전력 레벨에 따라 상기 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부를 제어하는 증폭기 제어부;상기 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부로부터 증폭된 신호를 임피던스 정합시키기 위한 출력 임피던스 정합부; 및상기 저출력 증폭부에 가변적인 동작 전압을 공급하기 위한 다이나믹 전압 공급부를 포함하되,상기 고출력 증폭부는 선형성이 높은 특성을 가지며, 상기 저출력 증폭부는 최대 사용 빈도 영역에서 효율이 높으며 비선형 특성을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력 증폭기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 고출력 증폭부는 최대 전력 소모 영역을 위한 고출력 모드에서 동작되고, 상기 저출력 증폭부는 상기 최대 사용 빈도 영역을 위한 저출력 모드에서 동작되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력증폭기.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부는 외부로부터 안테나로 입력되는 신호의 전력 레벨에 따라 택일적으로 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력 증폭기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다이나믹 전압 공급부는 입력 신호의 전력 레벨에 대응하는 전압을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력 증폭기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다이나믹 전압 공급부의 입력단은 상기 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부 이전의 상기 입력 신호의 전달 경로상 한 지점에 연결되며, 출력단은 상기 저출력 증폭부의 동작 전압단에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력 증폭기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다이나믹 전압 공급부는,입력 전력에 따른 전압을 생성하기 위해, 하나 이상의 트랜지스터 소자 및 저항으로 이루어지는 전력 감지 트랜지스터 회로; 및입력 전력의 고주파 성분이 출력 전압으로 전달되는 것을 방지하기 위한 고주파 차단 소자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력증폭기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 저출력 증폭부는, 입력 신호의 전력 레벨 상에서 각자 다른 고효율 동작 영역을 가지는 증폭소자 다수 개를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력증폭기.
- 제1항, 제2항, 제4항, 제5항, 제6항, 제7항 및 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 고출력 증폭부 및 저출력 증폭부는,이종접합 쌍극자 트랜지스터 어레이, 바이폴라 트랜지스터, 전계효과 트랜지스터 등의 트랜지스터 어레이 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전력증폭기.
