Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- 인접하는 복수의 주사선으로 이루어지는 주사선군과, 데이터선과, 상기 복수의 주사선 각각과 상기 데이터선의 교차에 대응하여 마련되고, 또한 대향 전극과 화소 전극 사이에 액정을 유지하여 이루어지는 액정 용량과, 상기 데이터선과 상기 화소 전극 사이에 개재되어, 상기 주사선이 온 전위이면 온 상태로 되는 한편, 오프 전위이면 오프 상태로 되는 스위칭 소자와, 한쪽이 상기 화소 전극에 접속된 축적 용량 전극과 다른쪽이 상기 한쪽의 축적 용량 전극에 대향 배치된 축적 용량 전극을 포함하는 축적 용량을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치를 구동하는 구동 회로로서,상기 복수의 주사선 각각을 순차적으로 온 전위로 구동하는 주사선 구동 회로와,상기 주사선 구동 회로에 의해 상기 복수의 주사선 각각이 온 전위로 된 경우에, 상기 데이터선의 전위를, 상기 대향 전극의 전위에 근거한 농도에 따른 전위차이고, 또한, 상기 주사선군에 속하는 주사선끼리에 대하여 동일한 기입 극성에 대응하는 전위로 하는 데이터선 구동 회로와,상기 주사선이 온 전위인 경우에 상기 데이터선의 전위가 정극성 기입에 대응하는 것이었다면, 상기 주사선이 오프 전위로 천이한 후에, 상기 축적 용량에 있어서의 상기 다른쪽의 축적 용량 전극의 전위를 상위 레벨 쪽으로 시프트시키는 한편, 해당 온 전위에 있어서의 상기 데이터선의 전위가 부극성 기입에 대응하는 것이었다면, 상기 주사선이 오프 전위로 천이한 후에, 상기 축적 용량에 있어서의 상 기 다른쪽의 축적 용량 전극의 전위를 하위 레벨 쪽으로 시프트시키는 축적 용량 구동 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 축적 용량 구동 회로는 상기 주사선군에 속하는 복수의 주사선에 대응하는 상기 전위의 시프트를 동시에 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주사선군에 속하는 인접한 주사선은 2개이며,상기 데이터선 구동 회로는 상기 데이터선의 기입 극성을 2수평 주사 기간마다 반전 구동시키는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 데이터선 구동 회로는 상기 데이터선을, 인접하는 상기 주사선군간에 상이한 기입 극성에 대응한 전위로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로.
- 청구항 1 내지 3 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 5에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
- 인접하는 복수의 주사선으로 이루어지는 주사선군과, 데이터선과, 상기 복수의 주사선의 각각과 상기 데이터선의 교차에 대응하여 마련되고, 또한 대향 전극과 화소 전극 사이에 액정을 유지하여 이루어지는 액정 용량과, 상기 데이터선과 상기 화소 전극 사이에 개재하여, 상기 주사선이 온 전위이면 온 상태로 하는 한편, 오프 전위이면 오프 상태로 하는 스위칭 소자와, 한쪽이 상기 화소 전극에 접속된 축적 용량 전극과 다른쪽이 상기 한쪽의 축적 용량 전극에 대향 배치된 축적 용량 전극을 포함하는 축적 용량을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법으로서,상기 복수의 주사선 각각을 순차적으로 온 전위로 하고,상기 복수의 주사선 각각을 온 전위로 한 경우에, 상기 데이터선의 전위를, 상기 대향 전극의 전위에 근거한 농도에 따른 전위차이고, 또한, 상기 주사선군에 속하는 주사선끼리에 대하여 동일한 기입 극성에 대응한 전위로 변경하고,상기 주사선을 온 전위로 한 경우에 상기 데이터선의 전위가 정극성 기입에 대응되었다면, 상기 주사선을 오프 전위로 천이시킨 후에, 상기 축적 용량에서의 다른쪽의 축적 용량 전극의 전위를 상위 레벨 쪽으로 시프트시키는 한편, 상기 주사선을 온 전위로 한 경우에 상기 데이터선의 전위가 부극성 기입에 대응되었다면, 상기 주사선을 오프 전위로 천이시킨 후에, 상기 축적 용량에서의 다른쪽의 축적 용량 전극의 전위를 하위 레벨 쪽으로 시프트시키는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
