Claims (2)
- 메인 릴레이 온/오프 회로와, 토오크 센서와, 차속 센서와, 조향각 센서와, 상기 메인 릴레이 온/오프 회로를 통해 메인 릴레이가 온되는 경우 상기 토오크 센서, 차속 센서, 조향각 센서에서 각각 검출된 정보로부터 모터를 구동하기 위한 목표전류를 계산하는 목표전류 연산부와, 모터 릴레이를 온하여 상기 목표전류 연산부에서 계산된 목표전류가 모터에 흐르는 실제전류가 되도록 모터를 구동시키는 모터 릴레이 온/오프 회로로 구성된 EPS 시스템에 있어서,상기 토오크 센서에서 검출된 토오크, 상기 차속 센서에서 검출된 차속, 상기 조향각 센서에서 검출된 조타각도의 각 검출정보를 모니터링하여 EPS 시스템의 고장을 진단 및 판단하고, 고장이 발생하였을 경우 해당 조치를 취하는 고장 진단 및 판단부를 포함하여 구성되되,상기 고장 진단 및 판단부는, 상기 토오크 센서, 차속 센서, 조향각 센서의 각 검출정보를 모니터링하여 EPS 시스템의 고장 여부를 판단하는 제1단계와, 상기 제1단계의 판단 결과, EPS 시스템에 고장이 발생하였다고 판단되면, 상기 모터 릴레이 온/오프 회로의 모터 릴레이를 오프하는 제2단계와, 상기 제2단계 수행 후, 일정 시간 범위내에서 상기 토오크 센서, 차속 센서, 조향각 센서의 각 검출정보가 정상적으로 복귀되면 상기 모터 릴레이 온/오프 회로의 모터 릴레이를 온하는 제3단계와, 상기 제2단계의 판단 결과, EPS 시스템에 발생한 고장이 심각한 수준의 고장이라고 판단되면, 상기 메인 릴레이 온/오프 회로의 메인 릴레이를 오프하여 ECU를 완전히 끄고 EPS 시스템이 정상적으로 복귀될 때까지 조향력 발생을 중지시키는 제4단계로 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자제어 파워 스티어링 시스템에서의 고장 진단 및 조치장치.
