Claims (8)
- 외측면과 내측면을 가지는 제1 기판,상기 제1 기판과 대향하고 있으며 외측면과 내측면을 가지는 제2 기판,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판의 내측면 중의 어느 한쪽에 형성되어 있는 화소 전극,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판의 내측면 중의 다른 한쪽에 형성되어 있는 공통 전극,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 주입되어 있는 액정을 포함하고, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 인가되는 1계조 전압은 1계조 전압으로 0V를 인가한 경우의 모든 시야각에서 대비비를 1로 표준화할 때, 표준화된 대비비가 모든 시야각에서 0.8 이상이 되는 범위의 값을 가지는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 기판의 외측면에 배치되어 있는 제1 편광판과 상기 제2 기판의 외측면에 배치되어 있는 제2 편광판을 더 포함하고, 상기 제1 편광판의 편광축과 상기 제2 편광판의 편광축은 서로 직교하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 액정은 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 전압이 인가되지 않은 상태에서 상기 제1 및 제2 기판에 대하여 수직으로 배향되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 중의 적어도 일측에 형성되어 있는 상기 액정의 기울어지는 방향을 규제하기 위한 도메인 규제 수단을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 도메인 규제 수단은 개구부인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제5항에서,상기 1계조 전압은 1.4V 이하인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제6항에서,상기 도메인 규제 수단인 개구부는 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 모두에 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에서,상기 개구부에 의하여 분할되는 소영역은 그 내부에 위치하는 액정의 기울어짐 방향에 따라 4종류로 구분되는 액정 표시 장치.
