Claims (1)
- 소자의 외부 프레임을 이루는 상,하부 기판과, 상기 상,하부 기판상에 각각 마련되는 소정 패턴의 상,하부 전극과, 상기 상,하부 기판 사이에 채워지며, 상기 상,하부 전극 간에 전계의 형성 및 비형성에 따라 특정 방향의 배향 특성을 나타내는 액정을 구비하는 액정표시소자에 있어서,상기 상부 전극에는 단위 화소에 대응되는 전극마다 그 전극의 중심점을 지나는 X,Y 직교축선을 따라 십자로 형태의 비전극 영역이 마련되어 있고, 상기 하부 전극은 소정 크기의 원형 또는 사각형의 도트 형태로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
