Abstract
Description
도 12의 (a) 및 (b)와 같이 설치한 후 통신 장치(100g)를 통신 장치(100f)로부터 출력되는 신호를 수신하는 수신기로 동작하도록 하여 실험한 결과, (a)의 경우, 통신 장치(100g)로부터 출력되는 신호의 출력 전압은 5mV이고, (b)의 경우에는 59mV인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 실험 결과로부터, 그라운드 전극이 설정되지 않고 모든 전극이 신호 전극으로 이용되는 경우의 수신 성능이, 그라운드 전극이 설정된 경우의 수신 성능보다 높음을 알 수 있다. 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따른 통신 장치(100)는 복수의 전극을 구비하여 이들 복수의 전극을 다양한 방법으로 활용함으로써 송수신 효율을 조절할 수 있고, 인체의 굴곡이 있는 부위에도 그 접촉이 용이한 특징이 있다.
Claims (10)
- 데이터 전송 능력을 갖는 호스트와 인체를 매개하여 인체를 통하여 데이터를 송수신하는 인체 통신 장치에 있어서,인체와 직접 접촉되어 인체를 통하여 전류의 형태로 신호를 송신하고, 인체로부터 전달된 신호를 수신하는 복수의 전극을 포함하는 전극부;상기 전극부를 통하여 수신한 신호에 포함된 잡음을 제거하는 고역 통과 필터;상기 필터를 거쳐 전송된 신호를 기준 전압과 비교하는 비교부; 및상기 비교부를 거쳐 전송된 신호를 복원하여, 복원된 신호를 상기 호스트로 전송하고, 기저 대역 신호를 생성하여 상기 전극부를 통하여 인체로 전송하는 제어부를 포함하고,신호 송신시, 상기 복수의 전극은 그라운드 전극과 신호 전극으로 분류되어, 상기 신호는 상기 신호 전극을 통하여 인체로 전송되고,신호 수신시, 상기 복수의 전극은 모두 신호 전극으로 사용되어 상기 인체를 통하여 전달되는 신호를 수신하는인체 통신 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 고역 통과 필터로부터 전송된 신호를 증폭하여 상기 비교부로 전송하는 증폭기를 더 포함하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 비교부로부터 전송된 신호를 분석하여 수신된 신호의 복원 개시 및 종료 시간을 인지하는 CDR(clock and data recovery)부를 더 포함하는 인체 통신 장 치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 제어부는 펄스 부호 변조(pulse coding modulation)를 통하여 신호를 생성하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 제어부는 상기 수신된 신호를 복원하여, 상기 통신 장치와 접속되어 있는 호스트로 전송하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 비교부의 출력 전압을 높여주기 위한 직류-직류 변환기를 더 포함하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 고역 통과 필터는상기 전극을 통하여 수신된 신호를 지연시켜 출력하는 지연기;상기 수신된 신호를 처리하는 저역 통과 필터기; 및상기 지연기와 상기 저역 통과 필터기의 출력 신호를 감산하는 감산기를 포함하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 복수의 전극은 서로 다른 크기를 가지는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제8항에 있어서,복수의 상기 전극으로의 신호의 전송 및 차단을 제어하는 스위치부를 더 포함하는 인체 통신 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 스위치부는상기 통신 장치가 데이터의 송신을 위하여 사용되는 경우, 상기 복수의 전극 중의 적어도 하나의 전극을 신호 전극으로 설정하는 인체 통신 장치.
