- 높은 열하중을 받는 표면을 보호하기 위한 열보호 시스템으로서,외부면 및 이를 마주보는 내부면을 구비한 섬유지지체(fiber substrate)를 포함하며,상기 외부면은 상기 표면을 면하지 않고(face away) 있고, 상기 내부면은 상기 표면을 면하고 있으며, 상기 지지체는 섬유 밀도가 상기 외부면으로부터 상기 내부면으로 가는 방향으로 증가하는 가변 섬유 밀도(variable density of fibers)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 탄소, 그래파이트, 실리콘 카바이드 또는 세라믹으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 지지체는 복수개의 제직 섬유층(layers of woven fabric)으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.

- 제23항에 있어서, 상기 수지는 RTV 타잎 수지인 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 지지체는 내부면 및 이를 마주보도록 배치된 외부면을 구비하며, 또한 상기 섬유 지지체는 섬유로 이루어진 지지 요소(support element)에 연결되어 있으며, 상기 지지 요소는 제1 면 및 상기 제1 면을 마주보도록 배치된 제2 면을 구비하며, 상기 지지 요소의 섬유는 상기 제1 및 제2 면에 평행한 방향으로 배향되어 있으며, 상기 지지 요소는 상기 지지체의 내부면과 접하고 상기 지지 요소의 상기 제1 및 제2 면은 상기 지지체에 0°내지 180°의 각도로 배 치되어 있고, 상기 지지 요소는 개개의 강화 섬유의 삽입을 포함하여 상기 지지체에 연결되어 있으며, 상기 강화 섬유는 먼저 상기 지지체의 상기 외부면을 통하여 삽입되어 상기 내부면을 통하여 상기 지지체를 나오고 이어서 상기 지지요소의 내부로 상기 지지 요소내의 섬유 배향에 평행한 방향으로 삽입되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.
- 제25항에 있어서, 상기 지지체는 상기 지지체의 상기 내부면에 부착된 절연 재료와 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 열보호 시스템.
