Claims (8)
- 플라즈마 표시 패널 상에 형성된 스캔 전극, 서스테인 전극 및 어드레스 전극을 구동하기 위한 각각의 전극 구동부와,상기 구동부를 제어하여, 전원 차단 신호가 입력되면 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널의 적어도 어느 하나의 전극에 서스테인 펄스를 인가하여 예비 방전을 일으킨 후 전원을 차단하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 예비 방전은상기 스캔전극 전체에 리셋 펄스를 인가한 후 상기 스캔 전극 각각에 스캔펄스를 인가할 때 상기 어드레스 전극 전체에 어드레스 펄스를 인가하고 상기 스캔전극과 상기 서스테인전극에 교번되게 소정 개의 서스테인 펄스를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 스캔전극과 상기 서스테인전극에 교번되게 인가하는 서스테인펄스의 개수는 1개 이상 10개 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
- 어드레스전극, 스캔전극 및 서스테인전극을 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,전원 차단 신호가 입력되면 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널의 적어도 어느 하나의 전극에 서스테인 펄스를 인가하여 예비 방전을 일으킨 후 전원을 차단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 예비 방전은상기 스캔전극 전체에 리셋 펄스가 인가된 후 상기 스캔 전극 각각에 스캔펄스가 인가될 때 상기 어드레스전극 전체에 어드레스 펄스가 인가되고 상기 스캔전극과 상기 서스테인전극에 교번되게 소정 개의 서스테인 펄스가 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 스캔전극과 상기 서스테인전극에 교번되게 인가되는 서스테인펄스의 개수는 1개 이상 10개 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
