Abstract
Description
신호크기 검출부(7)는 TIA(4) 출력신호를 입력 받아 그 크기를 검출함으로써 입력신호의 유무 및 패킷과 패킷 사이 구간을 판단하여 알려 주는 기능을 한다. 예를 들면, TIA(7)의 출력신호의 신호크기가 기준치(예를 들면, -30dBm) 이하인 경우 신호크기 검출부(7)은 신호가 존재하지 않음을 알리는 LOS 신호를 발생한다.

- 버스트모드 광 수신기에 있어서,버스트모드 신호를 전압신호로 변환하는 컨버터와;상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 최저치 레벨을 검출하는 최저치 레벨 검출부와;상기 최저치 레벨을 수신하여 상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 진폭이 일정하게 유지되도록 이득을 조절하고, 상기 최저치 레벨이 검출되지 않을 경우 리셋 신호를 발생하는 자동 이득 제어부와;상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 크기를 검출하여 신호가 존재하지 않는다고 판단될 경우 리셋 신호 및 신호가 없음을 알리는 LOS 신호를 발생하는 신호크기 검출부를 포함하며, 상기 자동이득제어부는상기 컨버터의 출력신호의 전압레벨이 기준치보다 높을 경우 상기 컨버터의 이득을 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 버스트모드 광 수신기.
- 버스트모드 광 수신기에 있어서,버스트모드 신호를 전압신호로 변환하는 컨버터와;상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 최저치 레벨을 검출하는 최저치 레벨 검출부와;상기 최저치 레벨을 수신하여 상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 진폭이 일정하게 유지되도록 이득을 조절하고, 상기 최저치 레벨이 검출되지 않을 경우 리셋 신호를 발생하는 자동 이득 제어부와;상기 컨버터의 출력 신호의 크기를 검출하여 신호가 존재하지 않는다고 판단될 경우 리셋 신호 및 신호가 없음을 알리는 LOS 신호를 발생하는 신호크기 검출부를 포함하며, 상기 자동이득제어부는상기 컨버터의 출력신호의 전압레벨이 기준치보다 낮을 경우 상기 컨버터의 입력신호를 증폭하는 것을 특징으로 하는 버스트모드 광 수신기.
