Description
Claims (17)
- 발사체의 속도를 측정하기 위한 시스템에 있어서,상기 발사체를 발사하는 포신;상기 포신에 의해 모두 지지되는 적어도 제 1 신호원 및 제 2 신호원으로서, 이들 사이에는 비신호원 재료가 배치되는, 상기 적어도 제 1 신호원 및 제 2 신호원;상기 발사체에 탑재되어 상기 적어도 제 1 신호원 및 제 2 신호원의 통과를 검출하는 적어도 하나의 수신기; 및상기 수신기와 전기적으로 통신하는 상기 발사체에 탑재된 마이크로 프로세서로서, 타이밍 회로와 논리 회로를 포함하고 상기 발사체의 속도를 계산하도록 프로그램된, 상기 마이크로 프로세서를 포함하는, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 신호원과 상기 제 2 신호원 사이의 거리는 약 2인치(51mm) 내지 약 20인치(508mm)인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 신호원과 상기 제 2 신호원은 모두 자석들인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 수신기는 유도 코일인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 비신호원 재료는 상기 포신의 일부인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 비신호원 재료는 알루미늄 합금인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 포신은 상기 제 1 신호원이고, 상기 비신호원 재료로 형성되는 포구는 상기 포신의 출구 단부(exit end)에 고정되고, 상기 제 2 신호원은 상기 출구 단부와 이격된 관계로 상기 포구에 의해 지지되는, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 포신과 상기 제 2 신호원은 금속으로 형성되고 상기 포구는 비금속으로 형성되는, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 포신과 상기 제 2 신호원은 모두 스틸인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 수신기는 자력계인, 발사체 속도 측정 시스템.
- 포신에서 발사되는 발사체에 탑재되는 서브 조립체에 있어서,상기 포신 위에 지지되는 다수의 신호원들의 존재를 검출하고 다수의 신호들을 상기 발사체 내에 수납된 마이크로 프로세서에 전송하는 수신기를 구비하며;상기 마이크로 프로세서는 상기 다수의 신호원들 사이의 거리로 프로그램되고 상기 다수의 신호들간의 시간 지연과 상기 프로그램된 거리로부터 상기 발사체의 발사 속도를 계산하도록 구성된, 발사체 탑재 서브 조립체.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 마이크로 프로세서는 타이밍 회로와 논리 회로를 갖는, 발사체 탑재 서브 조립체.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 상기 수신기는 유도 코일들과 자력계들로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 발사체 탑재 서브 조립체.
- 발사체의 속도를 탑재된 상태에서 계산하기 위한 방법에 있어서,(a) 미지의 속도로 포신에서 상기 발사체를 발사하는 단계와;(b) 상기 발사체가 상기 포신에 의해 지지되는 제 1 신호원을 통과하게 하고 상기 발사체 상의 수신기가 상기 제 1 신호원을 검출할 때 상기 발사체에 탑재된 마이크로 프로세서에 제 1 신호를 전송하는 단계와;(c) 상기 발사체가 상기 포신에 의해 지지되며 상기 제 1 신호원으로부터 알려진 거리로 이격된 제 2 신호원을 통과하게 하고 상기 수신기가 상기 제 2 신호원을 검출할 때 상기 마이크로 프로세서에 제 2 신호를 전송하는 단계와;(d) 상기 제 1 신호와 상기 제 2 신호간의 시간 간격과 상기 알려진 거리로부터 상기 발사체에 탑재된 마이크로 프로세서를 이용하여 상기 미지의 속도를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는, 발사체 속도 계산 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 계산 단계에 이어, 상기 발사체에 탑재된 신관의 시간 지연이 갱신되는, 발사체 속도 계산 방법.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 서브 조립체를 작동하도록 구성된 탑재 전원(on-board power supply)을 더 포함하는 발사체 탑재 서브 조립체.
- 제 16 항에 있어서, 상기 탑재 전원은 용량성 축전지(capacitive storage)와 결합된 유도 전력 트랜스퍼(inductive power transfer) 및 배터리들로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 발사체 탑재 서브 조립체.
