- 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,제 1 배선 패턴을 구비한 제 1 기판과,상기 제 1 기판에 대향 배치되고, 제 2 배선 패턴을 구비한 제 2 기판과,상기 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판 사이에 유지된 액정 재료를 구비하되,인접하는 제 1 배선 패턴 사이 또는 제 2 배선 패턴 사이에, 전기 절연 영역인 갭이 형성되어 있고, 또한상기 제 1 기판 또는 제 2 기판 상에 마련된 단차 부분으로서, 상기 액정 재료와 직접적 또는 간접적으로 접하는 단차 부분의 형성 위치와 일치하도록, 상기 갭이 형성되어 있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전기 절연 영역인 갭은 슬릿 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분의 폭과 상기 갭의 폭을 같게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분의 폭을 상기 갭의 폭보다 좁게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 갭의 폭을 상기 단차 부분의 폭보다 좁게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 갭의 폭을 1∼50㎛ 범위 내의 값으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분에 경사부가 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 리타데이션(retardation)을 조정하기 위한 멀티갭에 의한 단차 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 차광층에 의한 단차 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 배향 제어를 위한 배향 돌기에 의한 단차 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 층간 절연막에 의한 단차 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 포토스페이서(photo spacer)에 의한 단차 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 반사용 산란막에 의한 단차인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 상측 평탄부와 경사부와 하측 평탄부를 구비하고,상기 갭은 상기 갭의 한쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 상측 평탄부에 위치하고, 또한 상기 갭의 다른 쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 하측 평탄부에 위치하 도록 형성되어 있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 상측 평탄부와 경사부와 하측 평탄부를 구비하고,상기 갭은 상기 갭의 한쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 경사부의 위쪽에 위치하고, 또한 상기 갭의 다른 쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 하측 평탄부에 위치하도록 형성되어 있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 상측 평탄부와 경사부와 하측 평탄부를 구비하고,상기 갭은 상기 갭의 한쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 상측 평탄부에 위치하고, 또한 상기 갭의 다른 쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 경사부의 아래쪽에 위치하도록 형성되어 있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 단차 부분은 상측 평탄부와 경사부와 하측 평탄부를 구비하고,상기 갭은 상기 갭의 한쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 경사부의 위쪽에 위치하고, 또한 상기 갭의 다른 쪽 가장자리가 상기 단차 부분의 경사부의 아래쪽에 위치하도록 형성되어 있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 14 항 내지 제 16 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 갭 중 어느 하나의 가장자리로서, 상기 단차 부분의 상측 평탄부 또는 하측 평탄부에 위치하는 가장자리를, 상기 상측 평탄부 또는 하측 평탄부와 경사부의 경계에 일치시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판은 컬러 필터를 구비한 컬러 필터 기판이고, 상기 제 2 기판은 스위칭 소자를 구비한 소자 기판인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 2에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 적어도 하나 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
