- (a) 경작지에서 재배되는 농작물 시료의 질소의 동위원소를 경시적으로 측정하고, 질소동위원소비를 구하는 단계; 및(b) 얻어진 질소동위원소비를 이용하여 하기 식(1)에 따라 질소동위원소 지수를 구하여 유기 농산물인지 여부를 판별하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 유기 농산물의 판별 방법으로서,(1) δ15N= [R시료/R표준-1]×1000상기 (b) 단계에서 질소동위원소 지수의 값이 경시적으로 증가하면 화학비료가 기비로 전량 투입되거나 화학비료와 유기질 비료가 기비로 투입된 관행 농산물로 판별하고, 경시적으로 증가하다가 다시 감소하면 화학비료가 기비와 추비로 분시된 관행 농산물로 판별하며, 경시적인 변화가 없거나 감소하면 유기질비료만 투입된 유기 농산물로 판별하고, 경시적인 변화가 없다가 다시 감소하면 기비로 유기질비료가 투입되고 추비로 화학비료가 투입된 농산물로 판별하는 것으로, 상기 질소동위원소 지수의 경시적 측정 기간은 작물의 생육기간 30일로부터 60일인 것을 특징으로 하는, 유기 농산물의 판별 방법.
