Claims (3)
- 데이터 네트워크를 구비한 영상 압축 장치에 있어서,입력되는 영상 데이터를 소정의 양자화값으로 양자화하는 양자화기;상기 양자화기에서 발생되는 영상 데이터를 버퍼링하여 전송하는 전송기;이전 프레임의 영상 특성에 근거하여 현재 프레임의 복잡도를 예측하는 복잡도예측기;상기 전송기에서 점유하고 있는 데이터 버퍼링양과 상기 복잡도예측기에서 예측된 복잡도값과 상기 네트워크에 할당된 대역폭 정보를 입력하여 상기 네트워크 대역폭 범위내에서 상기 양자화기의 양자화값을 적응적으로 결정하고, 상기 양자화값을 미리 정해진 최대 최소값 범위로 설정하는 제어기를 포함하는 영상 압축 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어기에서 양자화값은 네트워크에 할당된 밴드폭을 바탕으로 상기 전송기의 버퍼 점유량을 미리 정해진 목표값으로 일치시켜 결정하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 영상 압축장치.
