Abstract
Description
또한, 본 발명에 따른 액정패널은 가장자리를 따라 요부가 구비된 칼라 필터 기판과; 상기 칼라 필터 기판의 상기 요부 양측을 따라 배치되어 있는 씨일재와; 상기 씨일재를 통하여 상기 칼라 필터 기판과 결합되고, 상기 요부가 구비된 상기 칼라 필터 기판의 표면과 마주보고 있는 TFT 기판과; 상기 칼라 필터 기판과 상기 TFT 기판의 사이에 상기 씨일재에 의해 밀폐된 액정층을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Claims (8)
- 복수개의 전극이 패터닝된 TFT기판과, 칼라필터층 및 오버코트층 그리고 블랙매트릭스층이 패터닝된 칼라 필터 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 오버코트층의 가장자리 부위를 식각하여 액정패널의 주변을 따라 형성되는 요(凹)부를 형성하는 단계;상기 요(凹)부를 중심으로 좌우측에 상응하는 상기 오버코트층 상에 이중의 씨일재를 형성하는 단계;액정을 산포 또는 도포하여 액정층을 형성하는 단계;상기 TFT기판과 상기 칼라 필터 기판을 합착하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정패널 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 TFT기판을 준비하는 단계는,절연기판 상에 게이트 배선을 형성하는 단계와,상기 절연기판상에 상기 게이트 배선과 교차하도록 데이터 배선을 형성하는 단계와,상기 게이트 배선과 상기 데이터 배선이 교차하는 각 부분에 게이트전극과, 소오스/드레인 전극을 구비한 박막트랜지스터를 형성하는 단계와,상기 박막트랜지스터의 드레인 전극과 연결되는 화소전극을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정패널 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 칼라 필터 기판을 준비하는 단계는,절연기판 상에 R, G, B 칼라 필터 패턴을 형성하는 단계와,상기 각 칼라 필터 패턴을 정의하고 상기 화소 전극을 제외한 영역으로 빛이 투과되는 것을 차단하기 위한 블랙매트릭스층을 형성하는 단계와,상기 블랙매트릭스층을 포함한 절연기판 전면에 오버코트층을 형성하는 단계와,상기 오버코트층상의 소정부위에 공통전극을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정패널 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 오버코트층은 아크릴(Acryl)계나 폴리이미드(Polyimide)계 레진(Risin)을 사용함을 특징으로 하는 액정패널 제조방법.
- 가장자리를 따라 요부가 구비된 칼라 필터 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 칼라 필터 기판의 상기 요부의 측면에 이중의 씨일재를 형성하는 단계;TFT 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 적어도 하나의 칼라 필터 기판과 상기 TFT 기판상에 액정을 코팅하는 단계; 및상기 요부가 구비된 상기 칼라 필터 기판이 상기 TFT 기판과 마주보도록, 그리고 상기 칼라 필터 기판상의 상기 씨일재의 상부가 상기 TFT 기판과 접하여 상기 액정이 밀폐되도록 상기 칼라 필터 기판과 상기 TFT 기판을 합착하는 단계를 특징으로 하는 액정패널 제조방법.
- 가장자리를 따라 요부가 구비된 칼라 필터 기판과;상기 칼라 필터 기판의 상기 요부 양측을 따라 배치되어 있는 이중의 씨일재와;상기 씨일재를 통하여 상기 칼라 필터 기판과 결합되고, 상기 요부가 구비된 상기 칼라 필터 기판의 표면과 마주보고 있는 TFT 기판과;상기 칼라 필터 기판과 상기 TFT 기판의 사이에 상기 씨일재에 의해 밀폐된 액정층을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정패널.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 칼라 필터 기판상에는 액티브 영역에 상응하는 영역에 형성된 칼라 필터층과,상기 액티브 영역의 주변에 형성된 블랙 매트릭스층과,상기 블랙 매트릭스층을 포함한 전면에 형성되며 가장자리 부위에 상기 요(凹)부를 갖는 오버코트층과,상기 오버코트층 상에 형성된 공통전극을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정패널.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 TFT 기판 상에는 종횡으로 배치되어 화소영역을 정의하는 복수개의 데이터 배선 및 게이트 배선과,상기 데이터 배선과 게이트 배선의 교차 부위에 게이트 전극, 반도체층, 소스/드레인 전극을 구비하여 구성된 박막 트랜지스터와,상기 박막 트랜지스터의 드레인 전극과 연결되도록 상기 화소영역에 형성된 화소 전극이 구비되는 것을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정패널.
