Claims (6)
- 화소별로 반사용 화소전극부 및 투과용 화소전극부를 갖는 화소전극기판과,대향전극부를 가지며, 이 대향전극부가 상기 화소전극기판의 반사용 화소전극부 및 투과용 화소전극부에 대향하도록 배치된 대향전극기판과,상기 화소전극기판 및 대향전극기판 사이에 배치된 액정층을 구비하며,상기 각 화소는, 상기 반사용 화소전극부에 대응하는 반사영역과, 상기 투과용 화소전극부에 대응하는 투과영역을 갖고,상기 대향전극기판의 상기 액정층 쪽 표면에, 소정방향의 러빙처리가 실시되며,상기 대향전극기판은, 반사영역에서의 액정층 층 두께가 상기 투과영역에서의 액정층 층 두께보다 작게 되도록 형성된 볼록부를 갖고,상기 볼록부의 상기 러빙방향 하류쪽 단부가, 상기 반사용 화소전극부에 대하여 상기 러빙방향 상류 쪽으로 상대적으로 이동되어 배치되는, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,반사용 화소전극부에 대한 볼록부의 러빙방향 하류쪽 단부의 상대 이동량이, 1㎛ 이상인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,반사용 화소전극부는, 러빙방향에 직교하는 방향으로 화소의 전체 영역을 횡단하도록 형성되며, 볼록부는, 상기 반사용 화소전극부와 같은 방향으로 상기 화소의 전체 영역을 횡단하도록 형성되는, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,볼록부의 러빙방향 하류쪽 단부에 추가로, 러빙방향에 직교하는 방향에 있어서 상기 볼록부의 양쪽 단부가, 반사용 화소전극부에 대하여 서로 근접하는 방향으로 상대적으로 이동되어 배치되는, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,대향전극기판은, 화소별로 형성된 컬러 필터층을 가지며,상기 컬러 필터층의 반사영역 부분 액정층과는 반대쪽에, 이 컬러 필터층의 반사영역 부분이, 반사용 화소전극부를 향해 융기되도록 형성된 투명층이 배치되며, 볼록부는 상기 투명층으로 형성되는, 액정표시장치
- 제5항에 있어서,반사영역에 있어서 컬러 필터층의 일부분은, 이 반사영역에서의 컬러 필터층의 다른 부분보다 광 투과율이 높은 투과부인, 액정표시장치.
