Claims (7)
- 외부에서 입력되는 영상 데이터를 입력받아 데이터를 표시하는 플라즈마 표시 장치로서,각각 나란히 형성되는 복수의 제1 전극 및 제2 전극을 포함하는 제1 기판,상기 제1 및 제2 전극에 교차하는 방향으로 형성되는 복수의 제3 전극을 가진 제2 기판,리셋 기간에 상기 제1 전극에 서스테인 전압부터 리셋전압까지 상승시키고 나서 하강하는 리셋파형을 인가하는 구동 회로를 포함하며,상기 구동회로는,상기 서스테인 전압과 스캔하이전압을 합한 제1 전압에서 제2 전압까지 완만하게 상승하는 제1 구간과,상기 제2 전압에서 하강하는 제2 구간을 포함하는 초기 리셋 파형을 파워 온시에 상기 제1 전극에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 전압은 상기 스캔하이전압과 상기 리셋전압을 합한 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 구동회로는 초기 리셋 파형을 파워 온시에 5 ~ 7 회 반복하여 상기 제1 전극에 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 제2 구간은 상기 제2 전압에서 상기 서스테인 전압까지 급격히 하강하고 나서, 그라운드 레벨로 완만하게 하강하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치.
- 제1 기판 위에 각각 나란히 형성되는 복수의 제1 전극 및 제2 전극, 그리고 상기 제1 및 제2 전극에 교차하며 제2 기판 위에 형성되는 복수의 제3 전극을 포함하고, 리셋 기간에 상기 제1 전극에 서스테인 전압부터 리셋전압까지 상승시키고 나서 하강하는 리셋파형을 인가하는 플라즈마 표시 장치의 구동 방법으로서,파워 온시에 적어도 하나의 초기 리셋파형을 상기 제1 전극에 공급하며, 상기 초기 리셋 파형은,상기 서스테인 전압과 상기 스캔하이전압을 합한 제1 전압에서 제2 전압까지 완만하게 상승하는 제1 구간과,상기 제2 전압에서 하강하는 제2 구간을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치의 구동방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제2 전압은 상기 스캔하이전압과 상기 리셋전압을 합한 전압인 것을 특 징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치의 구동방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 구동회로는 초기 리셋 파형을 파워 온시에 5 ~ 7 회 반복하여 상기 제1전극에 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치의 구동방법.
