Claims (15)
- 연소실 내를 향하여 설치된 점화 플러그와, 연료를 직접 연소실 내로 분사하는 인젝터와, 배기통로에 설치되어 배기가스를 정화하는 촉매와, 상기 촉매의 온도상태를 판별하는 온도상태 판별수단과, 상기 온도상태 판별수단에 의한 판별 결과에 의거하여, 상기 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 상태에 있을 때, 상기 인젝터로부터의 분사연료에 의해, 연소실 내의 점화 플러그 부근의 구역에 이론공연비 혹은 이보다 풍부한 공연비의 혼합기를 형성함과 동시에 상기 점화 플러그 부근의 구역의 주위에 이론공연비보다 희박한 공연비의 혼합기를 형성하는 연료공급수단을 구비하고,엔진의 시동 완료의 판별 및 상기 온도 상태 판별 수단에 의한 판별에 근거하여 엔진 시동 완료시보다 후에 있어서 상기 촉매가 활성 온도보다 낮은 냉기 상태에 있을 때, 상기 인젝터로부터 압축 행정 후반에 연료를 분사함에 의해 점화 시기 직전의 타이밍에 있어서 연소실 내의 점화 플러그 부근 구역에 이론 공연비 또는 그보다 더 풍부한 혼합기를 형성하고, 이와는 별도로 연료 공급에 의해 점화시기 직전의 타이밍에 있어서 상기 점화 플러그 부근의 구역 주위에 이론 공연비보다 희박한 혼합기를 형성하도록 연료공급을 제어하는 동시에,이러한 연료 공급 제어 상태에 있어서 점화 시기 직전의 연소실 전체로서의 공연비가 대략 이론 공연비로 되고 점화 시기 직전에 점화 플러그 부근에 형성된 혼합기의 공연비가 초기 연소의 연소 속도가 빠르게 되게하는 공연비로 되고, 또한 주연소시에 잉여 연료 및 기연 가스를 포함하여 점화 플러그 부근의 풍부 혼합기층으로부터 그 외주의 희박 혼합기층으로의 연소가 확산되어 가는 과정에서 상기 잉여 연료가 희박 혼합기층의 산소를 빼앗으면서 연소하여 희박 혼합기층의 연소에 있어서의 NOx 배출량을 억제함과 동시에 후연 상태로 되어 HC를 저감시키도록 상기 인젝터로부터의 압축 행정 후반의 연료 분사량 및 상기 별도의 연료 공급에 의한 연료량을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제어수단은 연소실 내의 점화 플러그 부근의 구역에 이론공연비 혹은 이보다 풍부한 공연비의 혼합기를 형성함과 동시에 그 주위에 이론공연비보다 희박한 혼합기를 형성하는 상태로 하는 연료공급의 제어로서, 연료를 직접 연소실 내에 분사하는 인젝터로부터 흡기행정과 압축행정에 각각 연료를 분사하는 분할분사를 행하게 하도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 분할분사시의 흡기행정에서의 분사량이 압축행정에서의 분사량 이상이 되도록 분사비율이 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 분할분사시의 흡기행정에서의 분사량의 비율이 엔진부하의 증대에 수반하여 증대하도록 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 배기가스정화용 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 냉기상태에 있어서, 상기 분할분사가 이루어지고 있을 때에, 점화시기를 기본점화시기보다 지연시키는 점화시기 제어수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제5항에 있어서, 배기가스정화용 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 냉기상태에서의 엔진의 극저 부하시에, 점화시기를 지연함과 동시에, 공기 및 연료를 운전상태에 따른 양보다 증량하면서 분할분사를 행하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제6항에 있어서, 엔진부하가 극저 부하로부터 소정 부하 이상으로 변화했을 때에 점화시기의 지연함과 공기 및 연료의 증량을 정지시키도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제5항에 있어서, 주행상태가 되었을 때 점화시기의 지연을 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 배기가스정화용 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 냉기상태에 있을 때에 상기 분할분사를 행함과 동시에, 촉매가 워밍업된 후에 상기 인젝터로부터의 연료분사를 흡기행정분사만으로 하도록 연료공급 제어수단을 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제9항에 있어서, 엔진워밍업 후에 상기 인젝터로부터의 연료분사를 압축행정 분사만으로 하도록 연료공급 제어수단을 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 배기가스정화용 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 냉기 상태에 있을 때에 상기 분할분사를 행함과 동시에, 촉매가 워밍업한 후에 상기 인젝터로부터의 연료분사를 압축행정 분사만으로 하도록 연료공급 제어수단을 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 압축행정분사를 BTDC 50° 내지 60° 의 범위에서 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 흡기행정분사를 ATDC 70° ± 20° 의 범위에서 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 연소실을 형성하는 실린더내의 피스톤의 정부에 凹상의 캐비티를 설치하고, 인젝터로부터의 압축행정 분사에 의한 분사연료가 상기 캐비티에서 반사되어 점화 플러그 부근에 이르도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서, 온도상태 판별수단은 엔진냉각수의 온도에 의해 촉매의 온도상태를 추정하고 엔진냉각수 온도가 소정치 미만일 때에 촉매가 활성온도보다 낮은 상태에 있다고 추측하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사식 엔진,
