Claims (10)
- 상부에 소정 패턴의 제 1 전극층이 형성된 기판;상기 제 1 전극층이 형성된 기판의 상부를 소정의 패턴으로 구획하는 절연층;상기 절연층에 의해 구획된 패턴을 따라 형성된 고분자 유기막층;상기 절연층에 의해 구획된 각 패턴의 양 단부에 위치하고, 상기 고분자 유기막층을 구성하는 고분자 유기물의 흐름을 차단하는 차단벽; 및상기 고분자 유기막층의 상부에 형성된 제 2 전극층;을 포함하고,상기 차단벽은 상기 절연층에 의해 구획된 패턴의 너비 방향의 중앙부에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 절연층은,상기 제 1 전극층의 상부에 형성되어 상기 제 1 전극층의 일부가 노출되도록 개구부를 구비한 제 1 절연층; 및상기 제 1 절연층의 상부에 형성된 것으로, 상기 절연층에 의해 구획된 패턴을 형성하는 제 2 절연층;으로 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 차단벽의 형상은 육면체 형상, 원통 형상 및 피라미드 형상 중 어느 하나로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 차단벽의 너비는 상기 제 2 절연층의 패턴의 폭과 같거나, 이보다 작게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 차단벽의 높이는 50㎚이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 차단벽의 높이는 1㎛ 이상, 상기 절연층의 높이 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 차단벽은 절연성 물질로 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 기판 상에 소정 패턴의 제 1 전극층을 형성하는 공정;상기 제 1 전극층이 형성된 기판의 상부에 절연성 물질로 측벽에 의해 한정되는 채널을 형성하되, 상기 채널의 양단부는 차단벽에 의해 한정되도록 하는 공정;상기 채널 내에 액상의 고분자 유기물을 도포하고 건조시켜 유기막층을 형성하는 공정;상기 유기막층의 상부로 제 2 전극층을 형성하는 공정; 및상기 기판을 밀봉하는 공정;을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 채널 내에 액상의 고분자 유기물을 도포하는 공정은 잉크젯 인쇄방법에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 차단벽의 너비는 상기 채널의 폭과 같거나, 이보다 작게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자의 제조방법.
