Claims (10)
- 통신 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 송신기로서, 디지털 입력과, 송신용 데이터 비트를 생성하기 위한 코딩 장치와, 송신 채널의 각 프레임 동안 데이터 비트를 송신하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 송신기에 있어서,상기 코딩 장치는 상기 디지털 입력보다 더 큰 비트수를 갖는 코딩된 출력을 생성하기 위한 코딩 회로와, 복수의 인터리빙된 워드를 포함하는 데이터 블록을 생성하기 위해 상기 코딩된 출력에 동작하기 위한 인터리빙 회로와, 상기 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하기 위한 속도 매칭 회로로서, 데이터 비트를 제공하기 위해 속도 매칭 패턴을 사용하여 상기 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하기 위한 수단을 구비하는 속도 매칭 회로를 포함하는 것과,상기 속도 매칭 패턴을 상기 코딩 회로와 상기 인터리빙 회로의 특성에 따라 선택하기 위한 수단이 제공되는 것을,특징으로 하는, 송신기.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 디지털 입력의 모든 비트가 연속적으로 인터리빙된 블록에 있는 상기 비트의 나머지 비트로부터 도출될 수 있는 방식으로 상기 속도 매칭 패턴을 선택하기 위한 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 송신기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 블록 내의 각 인터리빙된 워드를 위한 상기 속도 매칭 패턴은 상기 블록 내의 인접한 인터리빙된 워드 또는 워드들에 대하여 오프셋되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 송신기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 속도 매칭 패턴을 상기 인터리빙 회로의 인터리빙 깊이의 함수로서 선택하기 위한 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징을 하는, 송신기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 코딩 회로는 컨벌루션 코딩을 적용하며, 상기 속도 매칭 패턴을 상기 컨벌루션 코드의 제약 길이(constraint length of the convolutional code)의 함수로서 선택하기 위한 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 송신기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 각자의 디지털 입력을 각각 코딩하기 위한 복수의 코딩 장치와, 후속하는 송신을 위해 상기 코딩 장치의 출력 데이터 워드를 단일 송신 채널 상의 송신 수단에 의해 결합하기 위한 멀티플렉서를 포함하는, 송신기.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 서로 다른 코딩 장치의 출력은 서로 다른 데이터 속도를 갖도록 선택되며, 결합된 데이터 속도는 상기 송신 채널의 채널 용량에 대응하는, 송신기.
- 통신 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 수신기로서, 상기 수신기는 속도 매칭 패턴에 따라 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하기 위해 속도 매칭 회로에 의해 처리된 데이터 블록으로서, 복수의 인터리빙된 워드를 포함하는 수신된 데이터 블록을 포함하는 코딩된 디지털 신호를 수신하기 위한 수단을 포함하며, 상기 수신기는 상기 속도 매칭 회로의 작동을 반전시키기 위해 상기 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하기 위한 수단을 구비하여 이를 통해 인터리빙된 워드를 복구하는 데이터 복구 회로와, 복수의 인터리빙된 워드 각각을 생성하기 위한 수단을 구비하는 역 인터리빙 회로와, 상기 역 인터리빙된 코드 워드를 디코딩하기 위한 채널 디코더를 더 포함하는, 수신기에 있어서,상기 속도 매칭 패턴을 상기 코딩 및 상기 인터리빙의 특성에 따라서 선택하기 위한 수단이 제공되는 것을,특징으로 하는, 수신기.
- 통신 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 송신기를 동작하는 방법으로서,디지털 입력보다 더 큰 비트수를 갖는 코딩된 출력을 생성하도록 상기 디지털 입력에 동작하는 단계와, 복수의 인터리빙된 워드를 포함하는 데이터 블록을 생성하도록 상기 코딩된 출력에 동작하는 단계와, 송신용 데이터 비트를 송신 채널의 각 프레임 동안에 제공하기 위해 상기 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 속도 매칭 패턴을 사용하여 조정하는 단계를 포함하며, 여기서 상기 속도 매칭 패턴은 상기 코딩 및 인터리빙 동작의 특성에 따라 선택되는,송신기 동작 방법.
- 통신 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 수신기를 동작하는 방법으로서,데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하기 위해 처리된 데이터 블록으로서, 복수의 인터리빙된 워드를 포함하는 수신된 데이터 블록을 포함하는 코딩된 디지털 신호를 수신하는 단계와, 속도 매칭 패턴에 따라 상기 데이터 블록 내의 비트수를 조정하여 이를 통해 상기 인터리빙된 워드를 복구하는 단계와, 출력 디지털 신호를 생성하기 위해 상기 워드를 역 인터리빙 및 디코딩하는 단계를 포함하며, 여기서 상기 속도 매칭 패턴은 상기 송신된 데이터 상에서 수행된 코딩 및 인터리빙 동작의 특성에 따라서 선택되는,수신기 동작 방법.
